When shopping online (because who has time to go to the store?!) it’s hard to tell how something fits and feels. “Will that look good on me? Do I need to size up? It is scratchy?” My goal is to take the guesswork out of shopping by inviting you into my Dressing Room where I honestly share the real-deal fit and review. And to help get you started, I scour the stores to find the cute and comfy new styles you’ll be curious about and show you how to wear them.
For size reference, I’m super petite, 5’1, 105, 34D. I usually wear 0P or 25 in jeans and XS or 0P tops.
Hi friend! I hope you are having a fabulous week and looking forward to the first weekend in December! Can you believe we’re already in the last month of the year?! Jordan asks or reminds me everyday how many days ’til Christmas. It makes me happy being an older mama to still have a child that has so much joy and exuberance for the holiday. It’s the magic of Christmas!
And, it’s our Favorite Things party tonight! I’ve been a little under the weather this week, but I tried to lay low and conserve my energy for tonight and thankfully,
Hi friend! Happy Friday! It’s been one heck of a week here trying to get my ducks in a row before Thanksgiving next week! And with a hurt back. But, thankfully, I’m starting to feel much better so I think I’m on the mend!
Hi friend! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Our family had our annual trip to Dewberry Farm this weekend and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for it! It was sunny and warm, but we weren’t dying like we have in years’ past. It’s the best to be able to get together pretty regularly and we’re already planning Thanksgiving. How wild is that – that it will actually be here in a little over a month!
And guess what?! Amazon PRIME DAYS launch tomorrow with TONS of things already on sale for your holiday shopping.
Hi friend! Yay for Friday! I’m so looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home.
I did take the first step and went on a lunch date this week. It went really well and I was so relieved to feel good about it! He’s a real cutie, but who knows where it will go from here. I’m just so thankful for all of your support and encouragement since my long term relationship ended a couple of months ago.
It’s difficult to put ourselves out there and be vulnerable and brave meeting new people. I know many of you are in this situation –
Hi friend! Yay for Friday! We made through our first week back to school and the first week of football practice! How was it for you? I will say everyone is pretty tired and I’m looking forward to a big night of couch time and early to bed!
Tomorrow I’ll be back at it, Week 2 of training for a half marathon. It’s been nice being able to get out the door early to run, it’s not AS hot at that hour!
Hi friend! Yay for Friday! I’m really looking forward to the weekend! We actually don’t have anything on the agenda, but that’s why I’m excited! In a few weeks, the kids get to come to Brian’s company camp for a families’ trip and I can’t wait for that.
You saw a bit of what that’s like here and I’m so looking forward to sharing it with my kids. I think they’re really gonna love it!
YOUR FAVES THIS WEEK
I always love seeing what y’all are loving and here’s what topped your list this week!
Hi friend! Yay for Friday! I’m hoping for some pool time and a movie night on the couch tonight! Probably because I’m pooped from our whirlwind shopping trip at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this week! I’m so excited to share our finds with you today! I’ll have Part 2 tomorrow!
Hi friend! I hope your week has been amazing! We had a bbq with Brian and his girls this week and it was so fun! We grilled burgers and corn on the cob with a side caesar salad, watermelon and then cheesecake and s’mores. The night ended with the kids playing volleyball in the backyard with a soccer ball and no net and us just chilling watching.
That is what Summer is all about! Everyday I’m so thankful for our new home and the back patio space is really lovely. If you want to see more,
Hi friend! We made it to the weekend! Yay!!! Do you have any fun plans? I think we’re heading to a waterpark on Saturday with Brian and the girls, so that should be fun. It’s been a long time since we’ve been to one of those. Aside from that, there’s not much on the agenda and I like it!
Hi friend! How’s your week going? We’re movin’ and groovin’ over here. I’m so happy that Rhonda and I got Jordan’s rainbow wall decal hung! It looks so good and she absolutely loves it! You can see how we hung it here.
Hi friend! I hope you’re having a lovely Good Friday! I’m finishing the week strong with three killer workouts in a row. I took a pretty long break from my usual exercise, and have been feeling so blah and out of shape.
Not to mention the scale is reporting numbers I haven’t seen in forever, so I’m back at it, making my health and fitness a priority. I always feel so much better in body, mind and spirit when I’m at it consistently. Do you notice that too?
We had a fun week on the blog and I was so excited to welcome you into our new kitchen!
Hi friend! We are officially on Easter break (last minute basket stuffers here!) and the kids kicked it off with . . . dental visits! Well, that’s just how the schedule worked out, but they did great and we celebrated with a visit to Target after!
Speaking of Target, I’ll have a Target fashion haul tomorrow, but today, it’s all about LOFT! I placed a big order and have lots new Spring styles to share with you! And, bonus, most of the pieces are ON SALE!
Hi friend! I’m coming to you from glorious Cozumel today! I didn’t know if I’d be well enough to travel, but thankfully I’m so much better! I think I just needed about 48 hours of sleep to recover from my crazy last month!
If you haven’t been here in awhile, I found a home and moved in in less than a month. And, I sold my home! Needless to say, it’s been a very busy February/March, but I’m thankful we booked this trip ages ago. It couldn’t have come at a better time!
