Huge Dressing Room Haul!

Hi friend! Yay for Friday & our trip to Indiana! By the time you’re reading this, we’ll probably be on the plane already- our flight is EARLY! We’ll be heading to the airport at 5:30 a.m. It’s a quick trip though and we’ll be back before the week starts.

Huge Dressing Room Haul

Now onto today’s post! Get cozy with your drink of choice because this is a big one! I found so many wonderful pieces from retailers like Nordstrom, Loft, Express, and Bloomingdale’s and lots of it is ON SALE!

We’ve got a mix of casual outfits, lots of cute dresses and even some you could wear to a Fall wedding or dressy event.

There were so many outfits that, if you’re reading on a desktop, you’ll see them featured side by side (full length & close up). While that saves you from extra scrolling, the images will appear a little smaller than they normally do when I show one at a time.

Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110.  I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.

Jeans Outfits

First up, I’m so crazy for this Fall inspired sleeveless top with the mix of florals and prints. It’s almost (but not quite), sheer and that lends to the femininity. The sleeves have a double ruffle and the tassel tie is a cute touch.

The jeans you may have seen me in before. They’re a darker wash high rise from Loft and I love the style. They’re fitted at the waist with a longer bootcut leg. I like how these jeans give you legs for days, especially if you wear them with a pointy toe heel or boot.

This peasant style blouse is also easy to wear now because it’s a lightweight material. The dark background helps the pattern pop and it’s such a fun touch how there’s a stripe effect at the sleeve and chest.

If you like a boatneck style, this top is for you. It’s actually a dark brown (not black) stripe that has a softer look to it. The material is a mid-weight.

How awesome is this jacket?! The tweed is so classy and chic! It has a mix of black with lavender and muted gold buttons. It has a contrasting black braided hem that gives it added visual interest. It’s a crop length that looks fantastic with high waist jeans and pants.

When this sweater arrived, Rhonda and I both thought it was SO CUTE! I mean, how can you go wrong with two adorable foxes?! I think it’s so playful.

These jeans are a designer denim that I feel so comfortable and confident in. They’re by Paige, the “Cindy” and I like them so much that I bought them in three colors.

The fit is fantastic, with a high waist and I like the straight leg, ankle style. They come with a raw edge hem and I had to trim them a little so they’d fit at my ankle.

If you’re going to splurge on designer demin, this is a pair that won’t disappoint!

I liked that this pullover features stripes in a dark tan color and the wide ribbed cuffs are a cool touch. You could fold or scrunch them up for a more casual look.

This pullover is giving me all the cozy, comfy weekend vibes. I like that it has a wide v-neck and collar so it feels a little more dressed up. It has a drop shoulder and soft fleece inside with a banded waist.

Here’s a short sleeve MUST HAVE sweater.

I’m calling it a must have because it’s so versatile for work to weekend and will go with so many bottoms. I like it with jeans, but it would be a great work top with pants or a skirt.

It also comes in black and citrus green.

For a sassier choice, this relaxed tee fits off shoulder. You could wear it on a date night, evening out with friends or even with joggers for a comfy day in.

The front of this pink sweater is cute with the stretchy ribbed knit and banded bottom, but the back steals the show!

Your basic grey sweatshirt gets a feminine upgrade with slightly puffed sleeves and 4-button front.

And y’all may have seen these mules in my recent Amazon haul. They are so comfortable and chic- another Must Have, especially if you like wearing flats or need a comfy pair that’s both cute and affordable.

This floral button down top is Fall friendly for sure. It’s actually quite sheer, so I layered a black cami underneath. I don’t really like it with these light wash jeans, I think it would look better with darker jeans and also black or tan pants for work.

The model was shown wearing the top with dressy black shorts and that looked great.

I styled that short sleeve sweater with these cargo jeans from Nordstrom and like the look for both work to weekend. The pants are a nice alternative to jeans and feature a high waist and straight leg. The color is perfect for this time of year.

And if you like playing with color in your wardrobe, these magenta jeans are definitely a standout! They have a high waist and wide leg and the color is bold and saturated.

I paired them with a sweater that combines leaves into a lovely heart shape. You could also wear that sweater with blue jeans for a toned down look.

But if you dare, here’s a fun pink on pink option. The sweater is a tightly weaved knit with accented shoulders. This would look great with white jeans too!

Now onto dresses and wowza, there are some stunners here! This tweed mini dress is a fun take on the traditional conservative tweed. The dress is a tank style with a square neck and shorter skirt.

I like it as is while it’s still warm out, but I’d love to see it worn with a black long sleeve top layered underneath or a faux leather jacket on top. It’s also fully lined, so it’s smooth underneath.

Here is one of those STUNNERS I was mentioning! This dress is absolutely gorgeous in person. It has a fitted bodice with a demure keyhole, and then the tiered skirt flows to maxi length.The movement in the skirt is lovely! You can see it in action here.

The dress zips up the back and the neck strings tie behind your neck. You’ll be beautiful and turn heads in this one at a wedding or dressy event.

I like how this dress translates well for work to weekend. The warm brown is a pretty color and the medallion print looks chic.

The top blouses over in a criss cross without fear of draping open and it comes with the coordinating tie belt. The skirt has three tiers that give it some added dimension.

Romper • Sandals

When this first arrived, I couldn’t remember if it was a dress or a top, but it’s actually neither! It’s a romper! You step into it and it’s shorts with a skirt overlay. The square neck bodice is smocked with sheer sleeves.

This would be a fun option for a girls night out and in cooler weather, you could pair it with booties.

Another stunning option for a wedding or gala is this beautiful crochet dress. The detail on this one is exquisite and so well done. It has a gorgeous mix of navy blue, red and pink with a fully lined pink lining that hits to just above the knee.

This dress zips up the back and features hardly any stretch, so make sure to get your true size.

Oh so Fall!! Isn’t the deep orange on this dress pretty?! And is has a tonal floral print. The style is feminine and conservative with the high neck and not-too-short skirt length. I like how the waist band sits higher, creating the illusion of a smaller waist.

I had to include this showstopper too! Isn’t it fabulous for a fancy party, gala or wedding?! It will also last through holiday season if you have holiday parties or a NYE event to attend.

The dark pink is a unique color and the sequins really shine. The dress is smooth underneath with a soft lining. I also love the halter style and how it shows off your shoulders (and a keyhole back), so consider wearing your hair up.

Ahh, here’s a fun one! A basic LBD that’s anything but basic! It’s a cotton material with a pleated bust (and sticky grip strip to keep it in place), fitted at the waist, and then a simple A-line flowy skirt.

You can dance the night away in this dress!

Fall florals, but make it pink! This maxi dress is is so bold with the large scale floral print and vibrant oranges and pinks.

Fit – a little long on me

You can go work to weekend in this demure floral dress. The darker background and pink/teal florals make it look both sophisticated and elegant. There’s a smocked detail at the upper chest and back, but a sheer short sleeve and coordinating tie belt. The dress is also fully lined and hits midi length.

More work to weekend here and in such a lively teal blue! This is more a shirt dress with a wrap skirt and attached side tie. You could cuff the sleeves for a more relaxed look.

I’m CRAZY for this dress! I love everything about it from the shape and style to the color and pattern. The short puffed sleeves and tiered mini skirt are so playful and fun!

This one is so demure in contrast! But, it’s still very cute with the soft colors, plaid pattern and v-shaped smocked chest.

It seems rare to find a brown sweater dress, so this is a good option. It has a wider ribbed knit and is forgiving with the non-bodycon shape. Given the collar, it could work in the office.

This green caught my eye and it has a mix of pink, tan, and black mixed in. It’s a simple style, basically a 3/4 sleeve length shirt dress with a tie belt to help define your waist. I like it with the flats!

The shirt dress above also comes in a skirt! This is a simple elastic waist pull on style skirt that looks great with the black blouse, but you could tie in any of the coordinating colors for different options.

One of the things I like about Loft is that they make pieces that are so easy to mix and match. You can wear this top and skirt together so that it almost looks like a dress, but you can also wear the top with plants or pair the skirt with other tops.
