First stop, Nordstrom! We started with our beloved AG Mari jeans that we’ve been wearing since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. These have a slim, straight leg – super flattering and comfortable and they go with everything.
We’re both wearing cozy split neck sweaters, but Ali-Shaun’s has a statement collar and thicker ribbed cuff.

Y’all know I’m smitten with this peacoat from JCrew. It’s so chic and I feel classy and elegant every time I put it on. It’s the perfect length, zips up the front with faux flap pockets and real side pockets.

And this corduroy jacket is right up Ali-Shaun’s alley. It’s on the preppy side with a diamond stitch pattern and top pockets.

Switching gears to dresses, this one is FABULOUS!!! I love everything about it from the beautiful cut, shimmery material, flattering bodice and pleated skirt. It’s so feminine and pretty, perfect for a holiday party, special date or as a winter wedding guest outfit.

This sparkly sequin dress is ready to PARTY! Take it to Vegas, wear it to your next holiday shindig or on NYE! It’s fully lined and quite comfortable underneath, not at all scratchy. It’s also nice how the miniskirt length is balanced out by the higher neckline and long sleeves.

A big YAY for Spanx loungewear! We were CRAZY for these soft lounge pants and zip front pullover. The fabric is insanely soft and comfortable, the kind you never want to take off. The pants run long, but do come in petites.
Ali-Shaun said she’d prefer a monochromatic pairing better – i.e. black pants and black top.

And these are definitely MUST HAVE pajamas! They’re the cult favorite Moonlight Dreams, but in festive holiday colors. They feel absolutely dreamy on!

I loved the perfect fit on this pajama set with the pullover top and jogger bottoms. They have a cute Christmas tree forest print and colorful collegiate embroidered lettering. So fun!

This is my FAVORITE THING I tried on from Nordstrom and I’m wearing it as I type! Actually, I’ve been wearing it everyday for at least a portion of the day since I tried it on!
It’s a lounge/pajama set by UGG. So soft and cozy and on the lightweight side so you don’t get too hot in it. The joggers have a wide, elastic waistband and the top has a drawstring waist.
LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!

Next, I tried on the UGG pants and cardigan. Wowza, talk about warm and cozy. Both of these fit oversize though, so they felt too big on me. But, man is it a cozy outfit to lounge in on a cold winter day.

We had to bring in our ride-or-die joggers, the Vuori. These have become a wardrobe staple for both of us. I’m wearing a Vuori pullover and these are great for lounging in or wearing over my sports bra when I workout.

Beanies for the cold weather! I really liked mine, Ali-Shaun wasn’t a fan. But I should have told her to fold hers, I think she would’ve liked it better that way.
And for my cold runs in December and January, I bought these performance gloves and headwrap by Zella. Both are so comfy and I think they’ll make running in the cold feel much better.

LOFT OUTFITS
Ali-Shaun’s first pair of lighter wash, straight leg jeans and she wasn’t sold. I think they look great on her, but maybe the material isn’t as stretchy as she’s used to so they weren’t as comfortable on.
She loved the iconic holiday inspired plaid button front top though. It looks so cute tied, making her legs look extra long and emphasizing her small waist.

I’m crazy for these high waist, wide leg jeans and the feminine sweater. The sweater has a cute scalloped collar and beautiful crochet detail. It feels light and airy and would also look great with a skirt.

Ali-Shaun LOVED these jeans! She said they’re her first high waist straight leg pair and she’s SOLD! She looks fantastic in these and felt very confident. She mentioned being able to wear these to work, to date night or even just running errands.
We got her petite so she could wear them with flats and a small heel. These heels are from Amazon and she loves them.

Her green sweater suits brings out her green eyes and the little ribbed detail gives the sweater extra oomph.

We were both fans of our tops here. I adore the pale pink cardigan with embellished buttons and she liked the high, smocked neck floral top. Ali-Shaun looks great in jewel tones, so this cabernet color was gorgeous on her.

This blouse is mixed media – a ribbed knit body and crisp cotton sleeves. I also like the mix of volume- slender in the body with a more voluminous sleeve. Could be a fun option for a holiday party with a dark pair of jeans or pants too.

Ooh, gimme all the cozy knit pullover tunics! I like how this top is longer with a shirttail hem, so it looks good worn untucked, but you could possibly front tuck it too. And the icy blue color is so pretty!

I like this shorter patterned dress too. It has a v-neck with ruffled overlay, a wide waistband and flowy skirt. The material has gold thread running throughout so you get a bit on sheen as it catches the light.

And this sweater dress is fun too! It’s a warm long sleeve cable knit with a mini skirt length. I love how the embellished heels tie in with the buttons at the shoulder.

We’re feeling the holiday spirit here! I’m in a cabernet red mock neck sweater with a cool mix of ribbed knit dimensions. It has split sides, so perfect for leaving untucked.
Ali-Shuan’s festive plaid top features a fun bell sleeve and would look even better with dark jeans or pants.
