New at Express

Hi friend! Just one more day until we head out for Galveston! We’ve been nonstop on the group chat planning groceries and meals and drinks and activities. Even the anticipation has been fun!
I’m also super close to launching my new blog design. We’ve been hard at work on it for the past several months and I can’t wait to share it with you and hear what you think. My goal is to make it super easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for.
New at Express
I’ve been seeing the cutest things at Express lately and placed a big order to try on for you. We have a mix of casual styles, wear to work and also some fun dresses.
For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.

I ordered several casual and a few dressy, “going out” style tops. The first few are the casual ones, tees that will be workhorses in you wardrobe and great for layering when the weather cools down.
I like the relaxed style of this one with a crewneck and cap sleeve. It’s effortlessly chic.
The jeans are my favorite Paige Cindy that I have in this dark grey/washed black, light blue and also white. They are a comfy high waist with a straight leg and raw edge hem. I still need to trim the length on these a bit since I’m so short.

Ooh, I’m crazy for this soft, stretchy v-neck tee. It’s dolman style with loose 3/4 length sleeves. It drapes perfectly and looks great with jean shorts now and jeans later.

Of course, you can’t go wrong with a classic striped v-neck tee. This one has a cool contrast in stripes on the v-neck and cap sleeve.
The jeans are by Mother in a cool flare leg style. I had to trim the hem on these too.

What a perfect mustard color for Fall. The tee is a lightweight knit with a curved neck, cuffed sleeve and single pocket.

It’s not quite sweater weather, but this short sleeve sweater is a great in-between. I’m wearing it with a tank underneath, but in the Fall, you could layer a 3/4 length or long sleeve tee underneath.

This top looks and fits like a bodysuit, but is actually simply a top. It has a sexy v-front and back and it’s double lined, so it smoothes everything out.

If you’re looking for a great pair of black skinny jeans for Fall, I’ve had this pair from Madewell for years and still love them. They’re a high waist skinny that are very comfortable and easy to wear without any gaping in the back.
The top is a sassy, silky halter with a chic modern pattern. I love how it shows off your shoulders with a short haircut or with your hair up.

These pants also look chic with this (hidden) button down top. The print is fun and bold and I like the cap sleeves. It’s one you can dress up with pants or down with jeans.

This halter top is has a gathered high neck and flattering smocked waist. The “rum raisin” is great color for Fall, and it also comes in black, cream and citrus.

EXPRESS DRESSES
Such a flattering and comfortable dress! I love the pretty blue color and the stretchy knit material. It has a high neck, defined waist, and flutter trim skirt. It’s regular bra friendly with the tank shoulders. This dress also comes in a neutral creamy tan color, “sandshell.”

If you have a wedding or other dressy event to attend in the near future, this dress would be a great option. It features a bold print in a Fall-friendly color with adjustable spaghetti straps, a side tie and hi/low cut. I’m wearing this strapless bra with it.

Same print in a decidedly Fall-friendly dress. I’m loving this one with the full, flowy maxi skirt and long sleeves. The v-neck shows just enough skin, but it’s still on the conservative side. It’s also fully lined with tiered detail at the waist and skirt.

OMG, this dress is absolutely in person! The colors, the print, the material and style!
It’s perfect for so many occasions from Mother’s Day, graduation, Easter, and garden party to Fall wedding. The style is stunning on and it fits like a dream. It’s rushed throughout with a square neck and sexy V-back. The material is a smooth satin and the draping is perfection. It’s also fully lined with a hidden back zipper and hook closure.

Here’s a sassy one for ya! This all-black dress has a modest mock neck juxtaposed with a body contouring fit and rushed sides. It’s also asymmetrical at the hem and fully lined. The perfect mix of sexy and classy, especially in black.

If you’re looking for something very easy to wear and non-bodycon, try this twist front halter dress. It’s soft and stretchy and can easily be dressed up or down.

Express Jumpsuit
Y’all know I’m #teamjumpsuit and this is a good one! The high waist faux leather pants are paired with a silky cap sleeve blouse. I like the fit and style of the pants and how they have side pockets. You could wear this jumpsuit as is, or add a belt for added interest.
