Hi friend! Yayyyy for Friday!  We are slowly but surely wrapping up the school year.  The sports banquet was last night and it was such a treat to get to acknowledge all of the hard work that the athletes, coaches and volunteers put towards our season this year.

Our school was the track champions for the second year in a row and we couldn’t be prouder.

Also, this was the first year (in forever) that we had a football team!  It was a 6-man team and the kids grew so much during that season.  My son was the quarterback,

Hi friend!  Welcome to a fresh, new week!  We had a fun weekend, starting with a day of sports on Saturday in the BEST sunshiney weather.  It was bright and warm, but not sweltering and no humidity!

Then, Sunday took a turn and was gloomy and rainy.  The kind of weather that made me want to cuddle on the couch all day watching TV.

I started researching drapes and curtain rods for my bedroom and I want to look for wallpaper too.  The windows have linen shades, but they allow light to seep through the sides and sometimes I just want the room super dark for sleeping in –

Hi friend!  Yay for Friday!  If you’re on Spring Break, I hope it’s going amazingly well!  We made it to San Antonio, but the weather isn’t as warm as we had hoped.  We’re still having fun together and enjoying the house we rented.  The Riverwalk is always so fun with so much to see and the river is dyed green for St. Patrick’s Day! ♣

If you follow me on Stories, you know I did a “no added sugar challenge.”   I can’t believe I did 7 whole days!  That’s 7 days without my beloved vanilla caramel creamer and using half and half and nut pods instead! 

Hi friend! I hope you’re having a great week!  So far, so good here and getting lots done.  I had a pile of papers that needed my attention that had been staring me in the face for what felt like forever.

On Monday, I challenged myself to deal with ONE A DAY, until it was done.  That was just the push I needed.

Since then, I made a doctor appointment, worked on switching pharmacies, paid a bill, and tried to go paperless with my cell phone bill.  That one didn’t go so well because I ended up getting locked out of my account. 

Hi friend! Happy Friday! Do you have anything fun planned this weekend?  Really the only thing on my agenda is Jordan’s basketball game and help my mom move!  It’s been a long time coming and we are SO excited that it’s finally here!

I’ll make sure to get a couple of good workouts in, read, sleep, and see if any of my girlfriends are available to meet up.  It’s hard when the kids are away, but I’ve come to embrace and accept that time and use it for much needed self care.  I hope you can carve out some self care time for you too!

Hi friend!  We are definitely getting into the holiday spirit of getting cozy at home!  It’s gonna get COLD here this week! Should be freezing temps before Christmas!  I’m so happy we have a fireplace to snuggle up next to.  We’ve got plenty of holiday movies to watch over the next week or so!

Today, is my very last Amazon fashion haul of the year!  It’s bittersweet because I love doing these posts so much- digging through the site to find the best of the best and then sharing it with you!  I’ll have more Amazon in the new year though.

Hi friend! Yay for Friday! We have a few things on the agenda- all good things.  A birthday party and helping box up toys for Ceci’s toy drive for Texas Children’s hospital.  Everyone has been so generous in giving, it warms my mama heart.

I’ve also gotten thank you notes from several teachers that received my Tuesday Giving classroom donations.  I know those things will really brighten the kids’ and teachers’ days. ♥
