Hi friends! Â Happy Friday!! Â I think we’re really settling into our summer groove now and I’m excited to share some cheap or FREE things you can do with your kiddos this summer next week. Â I was nervous about being home alone with two kids (one a baby!) this summer, but my friend Melissa (with three kids and one a little younger than Jordan!) has given me new confidence about how much fun you can have with two! I was talking to her about all the things they’d been doing and I was all, if they can do it, I bet we could too. Sure, you have to make adjustments and plan ahead for baby’s feeding and nap schedule, but babies can go with the flow more than we sometimes realize! Â We don’t have to stay home all day (unless we want to)! Â So far, we’ve brought Jordan along to tennis camp, the pool, pool birthday party, the movies, and the splash pad!

This red cold shoulder top is a little sexy, especially with a red lip (‘brave red’).  And bonus that you can wear a regular bra with it! I wore it to a  Parents Night Out our friends organized.  Since school’s been out, we haven’t seen our friends and parents need a get-together too!  It was perfect how they did it- just picked a Wednesday evening at 6:30 and sent an evite.  We arranged Grandma to babysit since we’ve still never left Jordan with anyone else and she’s happy to do it!

A few Saturdays ago, I got to meet up with two of my besties for a glass of wine. Â It was one of those last minute invites that I’m glad I didn’t turn down even though I’ve been super tired lately. Â And glad they included me even though they probably thought I’d say no! It’s just that by the end of the day, I’m ready for soft pants and the couch. Â Glad I made the effort though- girlfriend time does wonders for the soul!

Our adorable nephew turned 2 recently, such a fun age!  I’m so glad Jordan has lots of cousins to get to know and love.  We’re counting the days until the next one arrives!  These jeans actually come much longer, I had about 4 inches cut off so they’d fit me ankle length to show some ankle.  Love that look lately.
I don’t know what it is about a baseball tee that I love so much. Â But, on women or men, I’m obsessed! Â How fun is this camo version?! Â Similar baseball style tees are available here and here.

Below is Jordan’s first trip to the movies! Â She did great, ate a little in the theater and I have to say a dark movie theater is a great place to nurse! Then she fell asleep. Â I did have Mom with me on this day, not sure I could handle 3 + 1 alone!
I didn’t get a good front pic of this dress, except when I first tried it on. Â A lot of my dresses are more body con style, so this is different for me and I actually love it! Â For our hot summers, I like something loose like this! The cotton felt great and I figured the button front would be great for nursing. Â It’s 40% off now with code JUICY.
And just yesterday, I took advantage of an impromptu opportunity to have a weekday lunch with the hubs.  Gotta grab those when they come up since it’s not too often!  He did take a conference call on the way home, but I’ll let it slide. 😉  The peplum top is on repeat (also 40% off) – I wore it to a pool party last weekend but adore this style that I’ve never tried before. It’s great because it’s loose and doesn’t stick to you on a hot day.
Again, wear a bandeau or strapless bra to hide your straps.  And what about the sweet scallop detail on the shorts (40% off)?!  This scallop mini skirt is also on sale 45% off, only $23.99!
I showed you this sweatshirt last week, but I know not everyone visits every week, so I wanted to share it again in case you missed it!  It’s that good and super soft and oh so cozy! It also comes in black and olive.  I got the regular XS because I don’t tend to be petite up top and I didn’t want it to shrink to be too small in the wash.  The XS is roomy on me.
Finally, the one-piece swimsuits I ordered from Victoria’s Secret arrived, you can see me trying them on on Snapchat this morning (@honeywerehome). Â The black one has got awesome rushing in the middle that really sucks you in. Â When I was trying it on James goes, “is it choking you?” Â Ha! Â It’s hard to get into, but once you get it on, you’re good! Â The halter top is really low cut, so very sexy, but the bummer (for me) is that it’s padded up top and the pads aren’t removable. Â I got size Small and I’m still deciding if I’ll keep it.
I couldn’t find it on the VS website anymore, but it case it comes back in stock, it’s the Halter Shaping One Piece and it’s this same top in tankini version here & here.  JCrew has one that looks identical (maybe a little less plunging neckline) in 6 colors. This tummy control halter swimsuit by Tommy Bahama looks really cute, it’s on sale from $130 to $96.
I love, love; love the striped one, but the top is too small on me, although the body fits perfectly, size Small! It comes in other colors/patterns too and is on sale from $78 to $58.50.

Megan – How do you store your flats and flat sandals? I was trying to look back at some of your closet posts but didn't find anything….looking for inspiration/ideas on a closet remodel I'm considering!
They are usually in the mudroom baskets since I'm often running out the door in them or I keep them on the bottom shelves of my closet. I keep a pair of flip flops in my car too.
