What I Wore | April
Hi friend! How is your 30 days of wellness going? I’m doing pretty good. The box breathing is awesome for my peace of mind. Stretching – I’m having to get used to since I never do it. And, as I suspected, my teen is resisting the family dinners. My other wellness goal is screen-free time from after school to after dinner. I actually really enjoy that, it feels like a relief.
What I Wore This Month | April
Since January, I’ve been sharing all the outfits I wore each month in an effort to encourage me to actually wear what’s in my closet. I was so happy you liked the post and y’all wanted to see it become a series, so today I’m sharing what I wore in April.
Jeans Outfits

So funny, I’m actually wearing this same outfit right now as I type this! The top is perfectly sporty and great for our in-between weather. I had to cut the length on these jeans since I’m so short. The silver sandals are gorgeous and quite comfortable. They’re different from any shoes I own, and I really like them. They dress up your outfit with that sheen.

Really loving the crop, button front jeans from Amazon. The smallest size they come in is a 4, so that’s what I ordered. They shrank a smidge in the dryer, but I wanted them to. They come in several colors, so I’m gonna try the white next.

These white jeans are a closet staple now, they’re by Levi’s from Amazon and I like the high waist and straight leg. I cut the hem so they’d be shorter. I also sized up one to a 26 since they don’t have much stretch.
Almost forgot about this fun, floral top. It’s from Abercrombie and comes in several colors/patterns. I like these crop jeans because they come in petite, so they’re actually crop length on me.
And the slides are so cute and comfy!

We celebrated Ali-Shaun and Kelly’s birthday last weekend with a party at Ali-Shaun’s house. It was a couples party and really great to get to hang out together.
Wore my Walmart top and trusty NYJD crop white jeans.

The linen paper bag waist pants are on repeat. They’re just so dang comfortable! I’m also CRAZY for all the Pumiey tops. They feel so luxe and soft with a perfect amount of stretch. They’re also double lined so nice and opaque.

We’re starting to get into the warmer temps and it’s predicted to get into the 90s next week! These pull on shorts are so lightweight and easy to wear. I think they look so cute with this colorblock top.

My Evereve tank is a new fave, as are the pink sneaks. Wore it to baseball this month.
Unfortunately my hat is sold out, but this one sure is cute!

I’m loving these soft, stretchy jean shorts from Amazon. The tank is from Amazon too. It’s long for you tall gals, but I cut the length on mine.
Stretchy jean shorts again, but with the ribbed henley tank that comes in a set of 3.
Dresses
We celebrated my daughter’s first communion and I got to wear this dress I’ve been saving! It also comes in a navy toile.
I can’t believe how grown up James is getting.
I’ve found several dresses I really like on Amazon. This one feels like a soft knit with a nice weight and I like how the florals pop against the darker blue background.

I knew as soon as I tried this on that it would be perfect for a date night!
Wore it with Elliott when we went to Field & Tides. The scallop risotto was so good!
I like this dress so much I have it in two colors, this fun pink and also green.
This dress is lightweight with a colorful, playful floral pattern.

I really like the blue (lavender?) on this one and how easy it is to wear with a regular bra. Do you spy little Lukie?!
Wore this dress on Wednesday. It’s effortless and feels like your favorite, soft tee.
Jumpsuit & Lounge
This is an oldie but goodie, so comfy and easy to throw on one piece. I just placed a new Vuori order and I can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m thinking they will make good travel pieces when James I I go to San Diego this month.

I wear this outfit on repeat, espeically when I just want to by comfy for working at my computer.
It’s the Vuori joggers and long sleeve Zella top, but the top isn’t in stock anymore. I linked a similar top.
ACTIVEWEAR
I’m back in a pretty good groove of working out, although I skipped Monday and Wednesday this week. I’m thinking I’ll be able to go to spin class on Saturday, so that will kinda makeup for it.

I’ve been walking on Fridays and take this little belt bag with me.
I really like this sports bra for running because it’s high impact and sized according to your bra size with adjustable shoulder and chest straps.
Kinda thinking I should have sized up in the shorts (I’m wearing XS), but they are so lightweight and breathable and have a lining.
The shoes are AWESOME! They’re the Adidas Boston marathon shoe. Size down 1/2 in them.

Megan you are looking so happy in all these photos. It’s lovely to see. That pink dress (by the pool) looks wonderful on you. Congratulations to Jordan on her communion. I loved seeing Jordan’s sneakers with her communion dress, my daughter did the same on her communion (same colour as Jordan’s) and then a few of the other girls asked their mums to go home after the church service to change into sneakers.
