What I Wore This Month

Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh, new week! I’m excited to start a new series with you, sharing what I actually wear in a month. I love to see and share what’s new and I do dressing room posts several times a month – from Amazon and other affordable retailers.

I always hope that those posts give you inspiration to help you create new outfits from what you already own, as well as carefully select new items to weave in. It’s exciting to see what’s new and fun to create different outfits.

But, I know we typically wear 10-20% of our wardrobe 80-90% of the time. Is that you??

When I worked in an office, it was a highlight to plan outfits for the week. If I had my stuff together, I would spend some time on Sunday night planning outfits and accessorizing with different necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

When one of the girls showed up in a new outfit, it was always lovely to ooh and ahh over it! I sometimes miss those days, but now I have you to share things with! And Rhonda:). She likes to shop and often has really cute things- for instance her new loafers.

Now, I work from home and can easily get in a ‘same jeans and tee’ rut, even though I have a plentiful supply of clothes to choose from.

When I challenge myself to actually “get dressed” and ready each day, it really helps with my motivation, self esteem and productivity.

What better month to work on starting that again than January? I’d encourage you to join me! I’ll try to share my outfit each day on Instagram.

And I’ll do a recap at the end of the month, like this.

What you’ll see here is my workout outfits, outfit of the day, evening loungewear and pajamas. Wow, I didn’t realize how many times a day I change clothes until I typed this. ha!

But, I do wear things on repeat before they need washing (workout clothes excluded).

  1. I loved seeing all outfits from jeans to loungewear. I work in an office as an Administrator and the “dress code” is business casual. I work remote one day per week and take full advantage of the comfy clothes that day!! Thank you for sharing.

  2. Love this, would like to see as an Outfits of the Week, I plan my office casual outfits one week at a time, and I also do a quick change into workout gear after work every day, so thankful for all your great content!

  3. Thanks for the everyday outfit inspiration! Do you remember what lipstick/balm/liner you’re wearing in the picture with the light pink vest? That would be the perfect neutral for me as I have cool undertones and most “neutral” lipsticks are too warm for me.
