Old Navy Style

Hi friend! I just got a few things in from Old Navy and wanted to share with you. I haven’t ordered from Old Navy in forever, but was pleasantly surprised when I looked online. And nearly everything is on sale at super affordable prices. 🙂

I had Summer and our mother/son trip to San Diego in mind when I placed this order. I’m thinking several things are keepers and will be coming with, weather permitting. But it’s also getting hotter here, we’ll be in the 90s at the end of this week.

Old Navy Style

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110.  I typically wear size 0P/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.

Jewelry Worn: Necklace • Apple Watch Watch Band • Budha Girl Bangles

Denim Shorts • V Neck Tank • Silver Sandals

Yay for a new pair of jean shorts that are perfectly comfortable with a high waist and not too short (3-inch inseam).

I got the color “Dana Destroy” and also the pink you’ll see below. They also come in white, distressed light denim, greyish and apricot. As I’m typing this they’re on sale for just $13! Regularly $39.

Denim Shorts • V Neck Tank • Silver Sandals

I’m also crazy for the tank. It’s a perfect ribbed knit with a v-neck and the quality feels nice. My true size XS fit great, although it is a slim fit. Only $6 on sale and several colors available.

Linen Floral Shorts • Ruffle Trim Tank • Silver Sandals

How cute are these floral shorts?! They pull on over your hips and have double front pockets. They have a 3.5 inch inseam and are also available in more solid colors (I got tan too) and also stripes! Only $15 on sale!

This tank is fun with the ruffled shoulders. It’s a ribbed knit body and cotton ruffles, so easy to dress up. Just $10.

Pink Jean Shorts • Pink Striped Button Down • Silver Sandals

And here are the shorts in pink that I mentioned above. So fun that happy pop of color.

The button front top is easy breezy and you can tuck, tie or leave open with a cami underneath.

Top Fit : XS

Shorts Fit : 0

Pink Jean Shorts • Pink Striped Button Down

Linen Shorts • Open Stitch Sweater • St. Tropez Sandals

I really like these linen pull-on shorts. They’re the perfect neutral color that can go with anything. These are the same style as the tropical ones above.

I paired it with this open stitch sweater, lovely for cooler Spring and Summer nights. You may want to wear a cami underneath since the stitching is more open.

Linen Shorts • Open Stitch Sweater

Striped Wide Leg Pants • Ruffle Trim Tank • Wedges

And how fun are these pants?! I like the wide leg and chambray stripe. They’re really comfortable with a high waist and double front pockets. On sale $20.

Rib Knit Maxi Dress • Sandals

LOVE this midi dress and the pretty pink color! It’s a tank style with thin straps, fitted at the bust and waist and then flares out. Super easy to wear and you could make it sporty with cute sneakers and a hat.

Last night, I got online and extended our San Diego trip by one day. Originally, we were only there 2 1/2 days and two of the days we’ll be at Padres ball games. I asked on my instagram stories for suggestions of things to do and whether we should extend the trip and y’all gave tons of ideas and it was unanimous to stay an extra day.

Thank you so much! I’ll be sharing all the San Diego ideas and our itinerary with you soon. I’m currently still figuring it out.

I also ordered some new things from Vuori that may be able to come with, so I’ll share that with you when the order arrives next week.

Have a fantastic day friend!

  1. I like all the linen shorts!
I’m from Dallas and we usually vacation in the San Diego area around April and May. It’s such a fun area! The weather is beautiful, and you will definitely want to dress for warmer afternoons. I suggest a warmer clothing option for the evenings. I always take a jacket, sweat shirt, and pants (usually jeans) and I end up wearing them at some point during our trip.
    Enjoy your trip!

    1. That’s good to know Melanie, I’ve been mentally preparing and looking at the weather. High of 70 and that’s chilly to me.
