Fashion Friday & Evereve Style
Hi friend! Yay for Friday and looking forward to the weekend! We have my daughter’s baseball game (which, unfortunately might get rained out) my son’s track meet and our adorable nephew’s 6th birthday. He’s the youngest cousin and just the cutest!!
Let’s Talk Fashion
I’ve been so refreshed and energized to be bringing you more intentional and thoughtful content. I’ve been trying to think of how best to share my different types of content, and for now, I’m still figuring it out.
I’m thinking Mondays will be the more thoughtfully written and hopefully, helpful posts regarding decluttering, slow productivity, intentional living, habits/routines and life in general. You can always click on the Simple Living tab to find all of those posts.
Mid week may be a mix of decor, beauty, fitness, wellness and/or style.
Fridays will likely be more fashion focused. If you love my style posts, you’ll be happy they are staying!
I’ll also continue to share the What I Wore posts every month. Those are fun and I’m honing in on my personal style and what I like to wear by sharing these. It’s been eye opening for me to see what I reach for and what I don’t.
I’ll continue with Amazon and Walmart fashion posts because I do wear those clothes and I know they fit the needs of many of you who are more budget conscious. I keep it very honest when it comes to my review of those items. I’ve been impressed by the style and quality of Walmart in the last few years.
I’m also interested in incorporating new retailers, boutiques, and shops. I’d love to hear what retailers you shop at and/or would be excited to see me feature here.
Your Faves This Week
On Fridays, I will also continue to share your faves each week. I like seeing what you like!
FASHION | Loft Tank Dress, Embroidered Henley, Yellow Puff Sleeve Sweater
AMAZON FASHION | Floral Maxi Dress, Crop Wide Leg Jeans, Colorblock Sweater
BEAUTY | Purifying Cleanser, Cuticle Oil, Sun Bum Sunscreen (Jordan’s fave)
HOME | Office Desk, Outdoor Rug, Outdoor Umbrellas
Amazon Dresses
Amazon can be hit or miss, but I’ve found several brands that I know and trust and heck, most of my activewear is Amazon!
If you’re looking for some Spring dresses, these six below from Amazon are good!
Dress • Hat • Sandals • Bracelets • Welcome Mat • Plaid Mat • Similar Wreath
I’m loving the pretty cornflour blue color of this dress. Rhonda thought it looked lavender – what do you see? It has a tank smocked top (regular bra friendly) and maxi skirt. I love how well it goes with the hat.
Dress • Sandals • Bracelets • Earrings
This is such a pretty dress for Spring in the green hue with white florals. It also ties at the shoulders and has a front side slit to about the thigh. It also comes with the coordinating tie belt.
This dress is so pretty and I love the shape. It’s got a heavier feel to it, but still perfectly lightweight for Spring. The spaghetti shoulders are adjustable and the smocked waist under the bust gives the illusion of an hourglass shape. Finally, the skirt has a little ruffle at the bottom.
Dress • Sandals • Bracelets • Earrings • Welcome Mat • Plaid Mat • Similar Wreath
Red and pink and white, oh my! These bright colors are so fun together and the dress has tie shoulders and pockets.
This dress makes me want to go on a tropical vacay! It’s silky smooth and non-bodycon, being very easy to wear with adjustable shoulder straps. The colors are stunning in person!
Dress • Sandals • Earrings • Bracelets
This dress is fun with the punchy colors and whimsical print.
Swimsuits
I also found a new one piece swimsuit on Amazon that’s super cute and flattering- also not too revealing if you’re hanging out with the kiddos! I’m wearing size Small.

Evereve Style
I’ve been wanting to explore some different retailers too and I really like Evereve. I only shop them occasionally because they can be quite pricey.
On the other hand, the quality is there and the styles are so chic. They have a mix of pieces that can take you from from the boardroom to brunch, and their pieces range from boho-inspired maxi dresses to tailored blazers and on-trend denim.
Tank • Jeans • Wedges • Bracelets • Necklace
I got this tank and it’s on the high side for a tank ($48), but as I started thinking about it, at cost per wear, it won’t be that much. I’ve already worn it 4 times since I bought it just over a week ago! If I’m going to pull this tank out of my closet and wear it all the time, it’s worth it to me to pay a higher price.
I also found these Kut from the Kloth jeans and really like them. They’re a comfortable high waist with stretch and lived-in fading. They’re supposed to be more crop length, but on me, they hit all the way to the ankle.
Since taking this pic, I went ahead and cut about an inch off and just left the hem raw.
Tank Fit: It runs slightly large, I’m wearing and XS and it fits relaxed.
Jeans Fit: 0, prefer petite
Tank • Jeans • Bracelets • Necklace
Tank • Sneakers • Shorts • Bracelets • Necklace
I’m CRAZY for these pink sneakers, aptly called “pink sugar!” Such a perfect hue for Spring on into Summer! They are very comfortable and have a wider toe box, but fit TTS.
I’m wearing Abercrombie jean shorts here.
Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Shorts Fit: 25
Tank • Jeans • Sneakers • Bracelets • Necklace
The sneakers go perfectly with this sporty tank top. It has a pretty mix of colors and I like the grey trim. It also comes in a dress version.
Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Pants Fit: 0
Tank • Jeans • Sneakers • Bracelets • Necklace
Sweatshirt • Jeans • Wedges • Bracelets • Necklace
Oooh, this sweatshirt is so soft with a fleecy lining. The bright stripes are so fun and it’s cool how they’re stitched on. The sweatshirt fits TTS, but I’d prefer it a bit roomier, so I’d size up one.
Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS, size up for relaxed fit
Jeans Fit: 0
Sweatshirt • Jeans • Bracelets • Necklace
Sweatshirt • Wedges • Bracelets • Necklace
I’m so bummed these pants didn’t fit me better. I pinned them in the back, just so you could see how they are supposed to fit. They’re very lightweight and military inspired, but not at all stiff. They have wide patch pockets and the pale olive color will go with everything.
Top Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Pants Fit: 0
Sweatshirt • Bracelets • Necklace
Definitely a fan of this cap sleeve sweatshirt. It’s perfect for Houston weather right now. It’s both chic and sporty with the v-neck and ribbed hem that you can also blouse under. It will look great with white jeans and jean shorts too.
Evereve Dresses
Dress • Belt • Sandals • Bracelets • Necklace
Y’all!! How cute is this dress?! It looks like a top and skirt, but it’s actually one piece. The top is a ribbed knit striped sweater tank and the skirt is a quality cotton maxi. I added the woven belt.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Dress • Sandals • Bracelets • Necklace
I’m loving the ombre colors in this tank sweater dress. It almost looks like a sunset or sunrise. The top is a high neck and it hits midi length with a side slit to the knee for easy movement.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Dress • Sandals • Bracelets • Necklace

I’ll never tire of this baby doll style dress. It slips over your head, is fully lined with an above-the-knee skirt and 3/4 length sleeves. I adore the pattern and neutral color too. And it has pockets.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Dress • Bracelets • Necklace • Flats
This dress was a miss for me. It looked so cute on the model, but did nothing for my shape. Perhaps if you’re taller, it could work for you because the the style is cute with the v-neck and ladder stitching. Plus, it’s fully lined.
I do really like the silver flats though. They’re unique and although I tend to lean toward gold, I like this change. Since they’re a neutral, they’ll go with lots. And bonus, they’re very comfortable with good cushion. Sandals fit TTS.
Dress Fit : I’m wearing an XS
This dress is a stunner! The watercolor print and blue colors are gorgeous! I’m planning on wearing it on a date night in the near future! It’s got a high neckline that’s perfectly bloused, sleeveless and a flattering rusched skirt. It’s nice and stretchy and the slit makes it sassy and easy to walk in.

Here’s a better look at the necklace I’m wearing. It has another link chain that I’m not wearing and comes in several styles.
Do you want to see more outfits from Evereve in the future? I’d love to hear and also what other retailers you like to shop or would like to see more here.

Loving all especially blue swimsuit, green cargo pants and the pink sneakers
Have you ever shopped at Uniqlo for fashion or at IKEA for home decor? I check them seasonally and they seem to have good items for budget minded people. Would love to see what you could do with them on your blog.
I haven’t heard of Uniqlo, will check it out. Ikea – I don’t enjoy the parking, long walking experience, but I do like their simple/minimal style. They also have great frames, plants, organizational products. Maybe I should take a trip in the future??
Yes for Evereve!! It’s a tad pricey, but amazing quality and well worth it for staple pieces! I would love to see more from them! Love your blog! ❤️
Thanks for letting me know! I’m really happy with my purchases – wearing the striped tank and pink sneaks right now! 😉
Love all the bright girly colors! Thanks for mentioning cost per wear. I’m typically more budget conscious but if I’m going to splurge, it has to be a worthwhile cost per wear! My two favorite mid range retailers are Belk and Kohls, not sure if y’all have those in Texas? I also like Loft but wait til they do the 40% off sales, which seems pretty often. Thanks for trying to show a variety of price points!
I’ve shopped Kohl’s – we have those in Houston, but I order online. I kinda forgot about them, will have to look again – JCPenney is another I haven’t shopped in awhile, but used to. I’m not sure about Belk, but I think it’s in Houston. Loft ALWAYS has a sale, so I wait too! & Talbots – I shopped them in the winter and still have their jeans on repeat.
Love all the colorful stripes, and you look great in that sunset dress! I’m usually willing to pay a little more for a unique item you can’t find anywhere else, an item I’ve been eyeing for years, or if I know the style and quality will last a long time. I live in my Vuori joggers and Aviator Nation sweatshirt, but most of my other stuff is Walmart!
Thank you! And you sound like me Jodi. I live in my Vuori joggers too!
Love your Evereve posts. I saw a dress on sale that you linked and ended up buying a few more pieces that I love from there.
I love Evereve! I’m much more likely to spend a bit on some nice quality pieces that I really like. The cost per wear is a true value!
I’m in New Zealand so I won’t comment on where to shop…but I’m definitely with Rhonda on the dress looking lavender…to me the underside of the hat you have on in the picture is more cornflower blue than the dress. But either way it’s a very pretty colour on you!
I’ll tell her she got another vote for lavender! And I love that we are able to connect while I’m in Houston and you’re in New Zealand. That’s so cool!
I like Madewell!
Thank you for letting me know Haley, I do too!
