Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 – My Wishlist (& Ali-Shaun’s too!)

Hi friend! Welcome to a brand new week!  We had a very lovely, slow weekend – those are my favorite!  We went to the pool and the kids went down the slide about 527 times.  They ate lunch and I drank my favorite pina colada that I’ve been craving all summer.  The Houstonian makes the BEST- so creamy and delicious!  Dinner was steak and hot dogs on the grill and I didn’t even have to cook!  We also finished the latest puzzle and it’s on to the next. 🙂

I feel fully rested and ready to tackle this wild week!  Of course, this is the week with both the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Amazon Prime Days!  Which one are your more interested in – or both?!  There’s no wrong answer!

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Wish List

This is the fun part, getting to put together a wish list of items from the sale!

1 • This Farm Rio dress caught my eye right away.  I love the style and unique color pattern and print. The coordinating belt is a fun touch too.

2 • This stretchy knit top will be comfortable but also polished because is has that contrasting collar.  You can wear this one with jeans, pants or a skirt.

3 • The new Barefoot Dreams lounge set looks divine!

4 • And floral pajamas in the loveliest shade of aqua.

5 • The feminine crochet sleeves on this top makes it unique and I can see wearing it out to dinner with jeans this Fall.

6 • For our mild climate, this cap sleeve zip sweater is perfect.  I also like the black color, but the cream is calling my name too.

7 • I don’t have any western style boots, and this short bootie pair looks awesome and it has an elongating pointy toe.  The tan color will go with everything.

8 • This textured crop vest will be a wonderful layering piece.

9 • UGG slippers forever.  This is the new style has a one inch platform with that genuine shearling coziness we know and love.

10 • The Capri candle is my favorite scent!  I’m looking forward to burning this marble style in my bedroom and office.  Soooo pretty!

11 • We all love the comfort of a slide and this is the latest version of the chain link flat mule by Steve Madden.  There are plenty of solid shades to choose from, but I can’t stop eyeing this colorful tweed version.  It will add a little bit of color to a mostly neutral wardrobe.

12 • Dang it’s hard to narrow down the bags, but when I thought about it, I’d love to have a simple crossbody bag that fits more than just the essentials so I can use it as my everyday bag.  This one by All Saints seems to fit that bill.  It’s a square shape with adjustable strap and inner slip compartment.  The outer backside has a zipper compartment for easy access to your keys and phone.  It comes in both black and tan – I’m kinda leaning toward the tan.

13 • All the jeans!  Lots of good pairs of jeans in the sale, but these four would be everything I need for Fall and Winter.  The black jean is by AG- the Mari high waist straight leg.  I know I love this style because I got it last year in blue and have worn the heck out of them.!

14 • Totally SMITTEN with the NYDJ high waist wide leg jeans.  I’ll wear these with a tucked in top and pointy toe heels or boots.  I’ve had great luck with my NYDJ jeans in the past and they tend to stretch with wear so you may want to size down.

15 • After getting my first pair of Mother jeans a few years ago, I wonder what I was waiting for.  They are awesome!! I’m still wearing last year’s pair a ton and this light wash ripped knee style looks perfectly casual for everyday. They’re a mid rise with raw edge hem and will look great with everything from flats, heels, sweaters and tanks.

16 • The Paige Cindy jean is one I’ve worn on repeat in the white and light blue and this is the dark grey pair “antique black.

17 • I’d love to have a new pair of OnClouds – I’m just torn on the color.  Which is your fave?

18 • Last but not least, I’m so curious to try on this darling Birkenstock! And I never thought I’d say that! 😉

Ali-Shaun’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Wishlist

Ali-Shaun works at one the nation’s top law firms and often plans events and entertains associates and clients.  She’s also a busy mom with two kids and a heavy sports schedule.  Most of her current wardrobe consists of activewear and casual pieces, so she’s more on the hunt for things that she can wear to the office and then out to drinks or dinner.  I can’t wait to see her in these pieces!
