NEUTRAL LIVING ROOM REFRESH

I’m definitely a neutrals girl and feel much more at peace with a calming color palette. Whites, tan, dark gray and black for contrast is all I need, with a few fresh flowers and greenery of course.
RUGS USA WASHABLE RUG

The new rug is actually a washable rug by Rugs USA. It’s a cream and dark grey rug that is spill and stain resistant and you can put the whole thing in the washing machine! Because it’s washable, it’s on the thin side, which means it wasn’t too heavy to move into place and roll out.

Willy White Pedestal Coffee Table

We had a square upholstered ottoman as our coffee table before, but the size was a little too big and the upholstery had seen better days. I really like the round shape of this round coffee table and how it provides additional room to walk around.
With all the straight lines and square edges in the living room, this round coffee table softens things up. It’s the Willy White pedestal coffee table and also comes in black.
It’s made of a concrete material with stone and sand that echos the look of plaster, but it’s lighter than you’d think.

Some reviewers complained that it scratched easily, but I haven’t had any issue with that. I put soft feet on the wooden tray to prevent scratching.

I’m still so fond of the custom wooden tray I ordered on Etsy. You can choose your color and dimensions and the handle color of your choice, or no handle if you prefer. I have the Special Walnut with gold handles.
One of my favorite ways to relax at night is to light this matte black Capri candle. It’s gorgeous and smells so good!
I got to use the fireplace a ton over the winter, but I’m afraid those cold days are behind us for awhile. ‘Til next year!
The TV mount is still so handy. With the mantel TV mount, I can pull the TV down to eye level and it also swivels. It’s a very cool feature that was here when I moved in.

I still have the small end table at the end of the sofa. It’s the Clairemont from Crate & Barrel, but I’m not sure they carry this small size anymore. The vase is from Amazon and the gorgeous white flowers are from Elliott.

AMAZON ACCENT CHAIR

It can be tricky to order furniture online, without seeing and feeling it in person. I have to say, I’m SO PLEASED with this cane accent chair from Amazon. It’s so pretty in person and perfectly petite for a smaller area.
The color and style are gorgeous and Jordan has already proclaimed it “her throne!” 😉

All I had to do to assemble it was screw on the legs! I really like how the wooden color of this chair coordinates with our wood floors.
POTTERY BARN CONSOLE TABLE
At Christmas-time, I sorta wished I had a console table to decorate, but it was our first Christmas in the new house, so I was just decorating with what I already had on hand.
In January, I ordered this console table from Pottery Barn, and it just arrived a few weeks ago. But, I will say it was worth the wait! The good thing about ordering from Pottery Barn is that they assemble everything and take the recycling away.

This console table came in “warm black” and a wood “antique amber” – I’m so glad I went with the black. I love the contrast and how it ties in with the stair rods, fireplace and chandelier.
POTTERY BARN PEARCE SECTIONAL

This sectional is a such a wonderful piece that I actually bought it twice! The first time was a roll arm style in a beige microsuede, but this one is updated with square arms and a modern ‘performance heathered tweed ivory.’
It looks like a soft white in person and is really gorgeous. I do keep blankets on it to prevent it from getting dirty and I don’t let the kids eat or drink on it. No Doritos fingers please! Occasionally, I do unzip the pillow covers (back and bottom) and throw them in the washing machine.
The best part about this sectional is that it’s really comfortable. I love having the chaise lounge part and there’s plenty of room for several people to cozy up and watch a movie.

Your family room is warm and lovely!
There’s a photo about half way through your post with a peak to your dining room. Where is your table from?

Hi! That table is from Restoration Hardware. I like the look of it, but it’s a little hard to wipe clean because there’s a lip around the surface of the table. Just something to consider.

Both are gorgeous but I love the new look for sure – especially your daughter’s throne!

Isn’t that funny?! 😉
I’m wondering where the bamboo floor lamp in the living room is from? Thanks.

Hi Tricia! This lamp is the Alina Floor lamp and I got it at Basset Furniture for Jordan’s nursery 7 years ago! It looks like it’s sold out, but this one is similar: https://rstyle.me/+_9fGz8T2KWUIvZkJJkuVfw
Love the new additions! Such a beautiful room – so cozy and pretty! Can you please tell me where you got the bamboo lamp? I looked in previous post I can’t seem to find the link.
