Hi friend! I feel like every month is flying by now. We are in full swing with school and sports and it’s feeling extra busy. I’m definitely the type of person that prefers lots of ‘white space’ in my life. It’s having that down time that makes me less cranky and irritable when life feels like it’s swirling around me. Needless to say, I’m so looking forward to the weekend! How about you??
Today, I’m recapping the top posts of September and this is where you can find anything you might have missed this month. These monthly recaps are a great way to get a quick bite of the entire month in one place!
I do these Amazon fashion try-on posts twice a month on Friday where I share my Amazon finds with you and how to style them into wearable outfits. I hope they’re helpful and give you new outfit ideas.
This post has a little bit of everything. I started with new Fall fashion, specifically, cardigans that are perfect for the change of seasons. You can easily swap these out with jeans and booties and all of them are priced really well.
I also rounded up my favorite Amazon accessories, all under $20! And, for those of you that are into Fall decor, I found really good neutral pieces to add that Fall charm to your home.

In this post, I recapped our trip to Brian’s work camp in Falfurrias, Texas- nothing like getting outside in the fresh air and going fishing! And I also shared some new things and great Labor Day sales. Lots is still on sale!
I was browsing Loft online and it’s seriously getting me excited for changing leaf colors, Fall lattes, and sweaters! I found some Fall pieces that are gorgeous for this time of year. I love how you can buy a complete mix and match outfit at Loft with everything from belts, shoes and coordinating accessories. They also have beautiful scarves. Not to mention the sales!
Nordstrom is still one of my favorite places to shop for clothes, and their online selection seems to be even better than what’s in the stores nowadays!
I’ve been doing a weekly series on Stories and wanted to share it here too, in case you missed it.
It’s nothing extravagant, just little things that make life a bit sweeter. Hence the title! ? These are things I find useful in my day-to-day life, and you might too. I share these “goodies” on Stories every Tuesday, so you can catch them live there.
Over at casa Honey We’re Home, I’m ready to start decorating for Fall! I pulled out our two Fall decor bins that I keep in the holiday closet (so thankful for that space!) and felt all giddy to see some of my favorite Fall things again.
If you’re new to Loves, it’s where I share things I’m loving each month, with the aim to highlight fabulous things I swear by, some things I want to try, great deals, and under $50 finds! All perfectly appropriate for the flavor of each month! I love sourcing goodies and sharing them with you!
Congratulations to this month’s LOVES winner – Julie in Palm Coast, Florida!

I’ve never considered myself an ‘outdoorsy’ person. But, more and more, I’m recognizing the benefits of getting outside and being in nature. I’m realizing that we are all people of nature and what it does for our mind, body, and soul is grounding and uplifting.
Also, I love that the movement I get from walking and being outside is good for my body. In the past, I felt like exercise had to be completed in a certain way, for a set period of time.
I still do structured workouts, but I also look at my day in a more holistic sense. That is, I recognize that the movement I get just by being active at home and throughout the day and by getting up off the couch and going outside, counts towards my activity goal.
This was so fun for me to get your input on what to pack for our trip to New York! Thank you!
Brian and I had such a great time in the city celebrating his birthday. My goal with this post was to take you on the trip with me via my camera roll. I shared where we stayed, what we ate, and helpful tips for navigating the city.
I snapped five lunches she took recently to school so you could get some ideas of your own. These are really so simple to assemble- no cooking required! I don’t think it’s genius, but we all get in ruts sometimes, so I hope these lunches help at your house!
I got Jordan her first sweater and jeans of the season and she couldn’t wait to wear them! She has strong opinions on what she likes to wear and what feels good on her body. I love that these outfits are something we can both agree on!
I’m already looking forward to October! It’s gonna be a fun month and I’m working on a new guest bedroom, Fall front porch, Fall tablescape and of course, more Fall fashion! We might even start sharing some gift ideas!
I feel like I need to order soon since things are taking longer to ship these days! Have you started any holiday shopping yet?
