Live Fit Phase 3

Last year I started the Live Fit 12 Week Trainer and saw really great results after completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 (the first 8 weeks), then I had a leg injury that prevented me from completing the last phase.  Also, I had gotten pretty lean in the first 8 weeks, so I felt okay waiting to finish.

To recap, here are some pics of the first 8 weeks, unfortunately I didn’t get pictures of each week so these are the only ones I have to share.  (Isn’t it amazing how much better we can look with a tan?)
Now that I’m all healed, I’m starting Phase 3, the last 4 weeks of the Live Fit Trainer.  The last phase focuses on high intensity interval training (HIIT) for maximum fat burning while maintaining the muscle you’ve gained.  Also, there is “carb cycling” to help reduce fat.  Because I’m already pretty lean and don’t want to get too much leaner, I will probably continue eating the way I did during weeks 1-8, that is, every 3-4 hours, with “cheat meals” on the weekends and maybe a couple pieces of dark chocolate after dinner.  I will reduce my sugar and caffeine intake, so I’ll report back on how that goes.

I copied the information below straight from the Live Fit website so you can see an overview of the final phase of the program.

  1. You look incredible! I'm excited to read more!
I'm starting the The Virgin Diet tomorrow–my trainer's recommendation. I've tried for several months to lose the last 10 pounds and lean out, much like you are doing, and I can't get my weight to budge. My trainer recommended JJ Virgin's book and everything I read made complete sense! So starting tomorrow, my trainer and I are BOTH starting the 21 day phase. I'm actually really excited! (and I plan to continue to work out and lift weights too.)

  2. Amazing results! I started doing this program shortly after you posted about it – I have finished phase 2. My lifestyle won't allow the time needed for phase 3 (as is, I've had to improvise on the previous phases as I can only get to the gym 3 days/wk, but atleast I could do some of them at home), so I'm kind of at a standstill. I'm thinking of doing phase 2 still, and putting a little bit more into it. I'd love to hear of some other program options also.

  3. I am planning to start jamie easons live fit. I have heard that when you finish the program, if you don't follow the rigeruos programs everyday and follow the diet plan you will gain weight back?

  4. Love this site!! I was wondering how you organized yourself during Live Fit– meals, workouts, etc. I saw in one pic it looked like you have a binder?? (tots my style) I just started the program.

Also, do you ever feel intimidated in the weight room? I find myself to usually be the only girl (and of course I am lifting like 10 lbs and wearing pink lululemon #sotough)

    Thanks!
