Even though I’ve started to get the hang of Twitter, and I’m all about Instagram, Pinterest is my first love. Last night I got a notification that my favorite store is following me, and they repinned some of my pins! How cool?!
You might not be on Pinterest near as much as I am (popping in periodically everyday-or are you??) so I’m sharing some of the most popular pins from my boards. I think you’ll really like!
Chicken Yakisoba via Joysama– 233 repins
(This looks so good and easy- I can’t wait to make it.)
(Create words with brass push pins in a foam board and frame. Quick, original, affordable art. Think of all the words or colors you could use.)
Perfect Fall Outfit via Twitter How to Dress Cute– 184 repins
(I see this outfit in my future!)
How to Hide those Pesky Lamp Cords via Hi Sugarplum– 112 repins
(What a genius idea!)
Painted Pumpkins via Urbanic Paper – 118 repins
(I think we’ve got pumpkins on our minds. I love the idea of painting them instead of just carving since I’ve never been a very good carver.)
Command Central- each person in the house has their own divider, keeps paper off the counters via BH&G! – 148 repins
(I’m all for whatever will keep the counters clear!)
30 School Lunches via Very Culinary– 131 repins
(Now that school’s back in session, moms everywhere are looking for lunch/snack ideas when their kids aren’t eating the school lunch.)
No Matter How You Feel via Bits of Truth– 70 repins
(A good reminder for all of us.)
Ultimate Workout Playlist- 60 songs via Honey We’re Healthy– 625 repins
This is bananas- I actually made my own Popular Pins list! I have never seen anything I’ve pinned get this many repins- so thank you very much. I hope you like it!

Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!
oh yes. much easier to read
Thank you for letting me know. I need to figure out how to make the comments bigger too- they are still really small.
Megan, the new font size is great but it might be too much work for you to change it manually every day. Thank you for making it easier on my aging eyes, though!
It's not too hard, I just have to remember to do it. I don't want anyone straining to read my blog- that's no fun. 🙂
Much easier to read bigger. I have to do my blog reading while juggling flaming … things around the house.:)
Great Susan, don't want anything catching on fire over there! 🙂
I like the new font – a little bit easier to read in that it's bolder than the smaller font. Love reading your blog!
Thanks so much Jennifer!
New font size is great, though I find the font itself quite difficult to read. I prefer the font that you use in comments, etc. (sans serif fonts are easier to read).
Yeah, that's probably true- the previous font is just Times, I'll probably switch that back. Does everyone else prefer Times?? Let me hear your thoughts.
Great pins! Love the push pin art. And yes, the larger font is much easier to read.
I love the push pin art! That's fantastic! I didn't mind the old font size, so this one works too!
I love all your pins and am constantly 're-pinning from you….feel like a stalker sometimes, but I think we just have really similar tastes!!;) and always love bigger fonts! ~Kim
Definitely like the larger font…much easier for older eyes! I love the push pin art, what a great idea!
As a fellow pinterest addict, that is sooooo cool!!!!
Thanks for including my pin!!! I love all those others…especially the push pin art. I like the new font, but I don't remember straining to read the old one.
I had a question…what's that number next to all the Pin It add ons? All of the pics say 189 for some reason…it's not the number of times the pic has been pinned? And which website did you use if it is a tracker? TIA! =)
this is a really neat post! i like the push pin art a lot & have actually never seen that!
That is a counter from Code It Pretty. Here's the post with the link:

Thanks so much! But I was wondering why they're all the same number in all the pics…
That pasta looks yummy!
Bigger is always better. My eyes are getting to old.
That recipe looks great! I'll try it this weekend! Also, LOVE the bigger font since my eye-sight is getting worse by the day (old age 🙂
The larger the font the better! I wish all of the blogs I follow would increase their font size. Thank you!
Woo Nordstrom! Best there is! Font looks good.
Love the large font…I changed mine also….so much easier to read! Going to check out your pinterest page now for all of those goodies.
YES – the larger font is so much better – especially for those of us who have diminishing eye-sight!! Love your blog!
Bigger font is appreciated! Love the pinteret boards. I'm not sure how I missed them.
Will be repinning every single one of these! Another self proclaimed Pinterest Freak…err…fan. The larger font is definitely better. My poor vision thanks you!
Still in the 80's here in Northern California…so that fall outfit is perfect! Love me some jeans and boots! BTW…wondering how to find the pin count on my pins??
I love the new size of the font. I think bigger fonts makes it easier and therefore more likely for me to read a blog post, instead of scrolling through to see the pictures!
Love the bigger font!! My old eyes thank you 🙂
