Wardrobe Wednesday // Summer Uniform (denim shorts)
Even though it’s not quite summer, Houston has been giving us a taste of hot, summer weather. On most days, when I’m just running around and want to be really comfortable, I find myself turning to my “summer uniform” of jean shorts, a tank top, and sandals or flip flops. Do you have a summer uniform? I find that the denim shorts that fit me the best are from Express, but I’m going to order a new pair (or two, LOVE the first pair below and the palm pair) from GAP!

I have my summer uniform of JCrew Chino shorts, and various crew neck shirts. Whether the shirts are plain, pattern, tank tops, etc. I try to change it up so I don't look like I am wearing the same thing ever day:)
Love the jean shorts you posted from Gap! I'm a shortie also (5'1") and I was wondering if you order your shorts from the Gap in petite or regular? I'm in my 30's and don't want to be wearing mini shorts, so I was debating between the petite and regular. Thanks!
Denim shorts are definitely part of my summer uniform too! I love how you can wear them with pretty much anything.

Personally I think all those shown look like "Daisy Dukes" & are way too short unless you are under 21 years old. Just sayin….
Love denim shorts, but mine a quite a bit longer. At almost 46, my girls and their beaus would seriously question my wearing 2 1/2 inch ones, even if I had the legs for them! I am all about dressing age appropriate without looking dowdy!!!
