Super Cute Basics | V-Neck Tee & Skinny Crop Jeans w Ballet Flats

Ooh la la friends! We’re halfway through this week and nearly halfway through the year, which happens to be good news for us fashion lovers because the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is here!!! We all L?VE a sale and this is a good one! We’re talking discounts up to 40% off of so much stuff you can still enjoy wearing right now!  I’ll be sifting through all the goodness to find the Must Haves for you, and will start posting them on my Facebook page all day and throughout the weekend so be sure to follow me there!  Tomorrow I’ll be back with a detailed round up of my faves!

But first, for our regularly scheduled programming, I wanted to share a basic (but still super cute!) Mom or busy woman on the go look that happens to be me most days!  Of course I like to dress up, but comfy, cute and casual is my fashion goal most days.  And clean.  Clean is a definite goal with a toddler who has picked up the charming habit of throwing food lately.  :/
I swear by this t-shirt that I also have in grey, but I should probably go ahead and get the black too while it’s still in stock.  It’s great because the tee has a slimming cut that dips slightly in at the waist, but isn’t at all snug.  It runs big, so size down, I’m in XXS.

It’s hard to be both cute and comfy if you don’t have a proper fitting and comfortable bra!  You’ve heard me raving about the Perfect T-Shirt Bra in this post, but after a few months reaching for it day after day, I can definitely say it’s still perfect and still the most comfortable seamless, supportive bra with no underwire!  It fits TTS, I wear 34D.I also bought more of THE undies!  They will change your life and I don’t say that about many things! But they will. Promise.

I’m wearing these Skinny Crop Jeans that are actually some of the only ‘crop’ length jeans that are actually crop of my 5’1 frame.  Most crop jeans fit way down to my heel, but these are ankle length on me and I can still do a petite cuff.  25P is the size I’m wearing.  They’re also 40% right now, so under $40!

The Yosi Samra ballet flats are my preferred flats (and I have tried Tieks, but they didn’t fit my foot as well). They’re also 40% right now in this snake style! I have bunions the size of Texas and these are nice and stretchy so they don’t hurt my feet at all. My leopard print flats are several years old (and they’ve held up really well), but here is the new version.  They are foldable, so you can throw them in your work bag and swap out your heels when you’re feet start killing you! They are nice and sturdy on the bottom too, so you don’t feel like you’re wearing something paper thin.STYLE TIP:  You can treat your leopard print as a neutral and add interest to an otherwise plain outfit.  The pop of print is playful!

I waited forever for this Ruffle Hem Cardigan to arrive and it was worth the weight!  It’s nice and slim fitting through the waist with a darling ruffle at the end.  It’s lightweight and a great Spring/Summer layering piece.  I’m wearing XXS.
It looks great buttoned or unbuttoned, and dressed up well with a pair of heels!
The length is nice and flattering too.

Have a great day, friends! ?

I always love the Yosi Samra leopard print flats when you post them, but it doesn't look like they are bringing them back….so which of the new versions would you order as a safe neutral instead?
