November Rewind
Holy Moly! How is it the last day of November already?!?! I know my son has been ready for December because that’s when he gets to start his Advent calendar! We got him a Lego one and this year, and I also created an Advent calendar on the back of our tree! It’s using the same small muslin bags I had from years ago and now he can look on the back of the tree for the corresponding day and find the bag filled with a small treat or handwritten note or something to do that day! I’m super excited about this!
But, before we jump into December, here’s a look back at all that happened in November in case you missed any of it! Do y’all have any travel plans for December? We usually stay home, but I have been lucky enough to have been in NYC in December in the past and have gotten to see the tree in Rockefeller Center all lit up! It’s a sight to behold and there’s something so thrilling about being in NY for the holidays! If you get an opportunity to go, check out one way to spend 24 hours in the city.
November Loves featured some cozy things, some great gift ideas and the pajamas I’m wearing right now as I type this! It seems as if my pajamas are staying on later and later each day, and getting put back on earlier and earlier!

With the holidays, come the holiday parties and drinks and desserts and that extra 5-10 pounds! But, it doesn’t have to be that way! I’m keeping up with working out this month, and my hubby shared how he lost weight recently. And they way he did it might surprise you! Then he went and made his gumbo and it’s so good I had him make it twice in a row! Jordan loves it too- but James won’t touch it!
When you hit those parties, I have 11 Holiday Party Dresses Under $100 for ya! I feel like after not going out in forever, I’ve booked our babysitter for like 5 times in the next month! I’m also super excited to be co-hosting our annual Favorite Things party here next week! Can’t wait to share that with you! We’re making it a pajama party this year! #ofcourse

We had two big Dressing Room posts, one being the very favorite Cyber Monday edition. But didn’t the Black Friday deals start early this year? What did you score?! I mostly found things for the kids, but really glad to have that wrapped up!
If you still have shopping to do, luckily, this Barefoot Dreams cardigan is still on sale 20% off :
And the hoodie is on sale under $50 in a few sizes
and the cozy throw blanket that we fight over at my house is also on sale under $50!
I started photographing our Christmas decor yesterday (even though I’m not done with it), and you can see our dining room decked out for Fall (loved this so much with the warm plaid tablecloth and Comfort Grey walls!) and more of our Fall home decor here.
And a peek at last year’s Christmas decor – Jordan’s mini flocked tree was one of the most special!
But I think our Sitting Room was my favorite Christmas decor last year. It’s looking pretty similar with some small changes so far this year! And here’s one look at this year’s tree that almost got thrown out the window in a fit of lightbulb frustration!
Tomorrow I’ll be back with a couple more GIFT GUIDES, and if you missed my first one, you can find Stocking Stuffers Under $35 here.
Hope y’all have a great day!
I ordered those blankets and am so excited for them to come in! And I am visiting New York next month and can’t wait to see the tree lit up 🙂
You will LOVE it!! Enjoy!
Such an awesome month, girlie!!!!!
