Holiday Party Dresses Under $100

Thank you guys for the feedback on yesterday’s fitness post!  It’s so important to our health and wellbeing to stay active and fit, especially as we get older! Because I’m an ‘older mom’ – 42 with a 1 year old!  I think it’s extra important for my energy levels to keep exercising.  My daughter is high energy and I gotta keep up.  Plus, I love running around with my 7 year old!

We’ve started to get our holiday parties on the books and I have two darling and affordable dresses to share with you, along with 9 more under $100!  You don’t have to spend a million bucks to look like it!

UNDER $50 RUFFLE DRESS

This first dress was a happy surprise because it’s only $45 and looks amazing on with the fit and flare hourglass style.  It’s universally flattering, and has a fun ruffled hem!

It’s flirty and feminine and a bit sexy with the plunging neckline.  You could add a lacy bralette underneath or a lace trim camisole if you prefer to be more covered up.  I feel like the longer sleeves helped me feel like not too much skin was showing.  It fits TTS, and is super flattering.

One thing I love about this wrap-style dress, is that it doesn’t fully open (it’s more of a faux wrap), so it’s guaranteed to stay put.  It’s got a great swing to it and the fabric is very comfortable.  I’m partial to the black, but it also comes in a pretty pink and warm burgundy.

I added a punch of pattern with my leopard heels, but you could also wear black heels or another color for a vibrant pop.

You know a dress is good when it makes you feel like twirling! I really couldn’t believe this dress is only $45!

A black faux leather jacket (under $100, size up) is usually my go-to for wearing with a party dress, but I like how well this tan suede moto jacket looks over the dress. I found this jacket fits TTS, I’m wearing XS. You can see it with my shirt dress here.

I realized you could only see a bit of my black tassel earrings, so I took a quick pic when I got home.  These are so fun and just the right statement with this party dress.

FLIRTY LACE DRESS

Next up, for something a little more fancy, this lace overlay dress is gorgeous and also under $100!  In these pictures, the underlay fabric has a purple hue to it, but it’s definitely more nude in person. I found mine at Nordstrom, but sizes are limited there- so you can also order it with FREE shipping here!

I’m crazy for the detail on this dress and the lace pattern goes in a chevron pattern.  They keyhole neck opens it up, but it isn’t too revealing.

And it looks as good coming as it does going.  You can wear this backless bra for some lift and coverage while keeping your back bare. It’s recommended to order one size up, but for me, my normal size is what fit best.

But on those extra cold nights, I like to bundle up with a scarf.  My exact faux fur scarf sold out, but I found this nearly identical scarf that is soooo soft and luscious!

I’d say I’m feeling party ready!
