Most Loved February

Hello friend! Welcome to a fresh, new week! I survived THE MARATHON!! I still can’t believe we did it! 26.2 miles! It was the hardest physical thing I’ve done in my life by far!

I’m just so happy that my brother and I completed it! I have lots of details and emotions to share with you, and I’ll have a full recap for you soon. I did share videos of race day if you want to check it out in the meantime.

Floral Maxi Dress

DressHeelsBag

Y’all! How pretty is this dress?! It’s absolutely gorgeous in person and the fit feels so good! The bright warm pink and blue combo is lovely in an interesting abstract print. It’s pleated throughout in a soft, stretchy material that flows beautifully with an asymmetric hem.

Abercrombie Jumpsuit

JumpsuitSandals

Y’all, this jumpsuit is amazing! It’s called the Lounge Jumpsuit and that’s definitely how you’ll feel wearing it. The material feels so soft and good against your skin. It’s nice and stretchy with a scoop neck, elastic waist and drawstring tie. There’s no pockets, so the sides lay flat. It’s also regular bra friendly.

Shirt Dress

ShirtdressHeelsClutch

I also found a few dresses that will take you from work to weekend. This shirt dress is high style with the brushstroke print and pretty mix of blue tones. It’s a lightweight rayon material and comes with the coordinating tie belt, plus there’s pockets.

Shirt Dress

ShirtdressHeels

This dress is a casual take on a menswear inspired shirt, sans collar. It has buttons from chest to hem, a single front pocket, side pockets and belted. It’s cool how they did double stripes and elastic wrists, so you can easily scrunch the sleeves up.

Floral Mini Dress

DressHeelsClutch

This pattern reminds me of the Marimekko brand– it’s playful with bold floral graphics. The dress is appropriate for work to church to lunch or dinner out. It has a high, smocked neckline, demure keyhole at the chest, smocked waist and pockets.

Cardigan, jeans, Mules

CardiganExpress JeansMules

Crazy for this Loft cardigan that looks more like a sweater when it’s all buttoned. The Express ripped jeans are still going strong too!

Bodsuit, Pants, Belt Heels

Bodysuit PantsHeelsBelt

This top is also a bodysuit, but with a crew neck. It’s also seamless, but in a cotton blend.

The pants are SO GOOD! They have a high waist with a zip and button front, double side pockets, pleats and a wide leg. They have a silky lining and come in petite, regular and tall lengths.

Sweater, Pleated Skirt, Heels

TopFaux Leather SkirtHeels

You won’t believe this faux leather pleated skirt is from Walmart! It looks so high end and expensive, but it’s only $34. It pulls on over your hips and has a banded waist. The material is actually polyester with some stretch, but it feels so soft and it’s machine washable!

The skirt runs big, I safety pinned it in the back for these pics. I styled it for more of a work look here with the soft collared sweater, but you could also make it “edgy night out” with a rocker/graphic tee & sneakers or with bodysuit & heels. A fitted white button down and booties with a fun necklace would be another great look.

Cardigan, Jeans, booties

CardiganLoft JeansSimilar Booties

First up, how darling is this bright pink sweater cardigan?! It’s such a fun, punchy pink color which is perfect as we inch toward Spring. You get the warmth of winter, but the vibrant spring color. You can wear it open with a cami underneath, but I also like it buttoned and front tucked like I’m wearing here.

It fits TTS, but I sized up to a small and like the relaxed fit.

The jeans are from Loft – a high rise, bootcut style that gives you legs for days. My regular size fit, but if I wasn’t wearing a heel, they’d be too long.

Blue Green Sun Dress, Wedges

DressWedgesPurse Bangles

I actually already wore this dress this week. We had a gloriously warm and sunny day and it seemed to call for a sundress. This one has petite florals throughout in a green and blue color. Very easy to wear with the midi length.

Red, Pink Floral maxi Dress

DressWedges

How fun is this dress?! I really like the red and pink combo, plus the style. The v-neckline is flattering as is the smocked waist. And, it has pockets and a tiered skirt.

Lily Pulitzer style top, jeans, Sandals

TopJeansSandalsPurse

The bright colors and splatter pattern in this tunic top remind me of Lily Pulitzer. This blouse is nice and silky feeling with smocked wrists and a collar.

Gauze Top, Jenas, WEdges

TopJeansWedgesCrossbody

I like this top on so much more than on the hanger. It’s perfectly relaxed and comfy, but also effortless with the tunic style, high low hem and gauzy texture.

Striped Cardigan, Jeans, Heels

CardiganJeansHeelsCrossbody

This cardigan looks like it goes with the sweater above. It has a polished and classy look with the gold buttons and front pockets.

The black jeans are ribcage straight ankle jeans. I cut the length on these too.

Swimsuit, linen pants, sandals

Swimsuit Hat Pants Sandals

Is it almost that time?! Maybe not, but our new pool is giving me swimsuit vibes! I found this basic one piece that’s pretty good in a simple way. It has adjustable spaghetti straps, a straight chest and removable padded cups.

I usually size up in swimsuits, so I order size small, but this one felt a little roomy, like maybe I should’ve gotten an XS.

I LOVE it with these pants!! They’re so cute and comfortable with a pull on waist, wide leg and paper bag waist. They’re on sale too with a coupon as I type this!

Blue Pullover, Leggings, Sneakers

PulloverLeggingsSneakers

Y’all know my love of Hey Nuts leggings runs deep. But I also love the CRZ Yoga leggings. I went into detail about them here and also shared more activewear I wear often.

The top is a new pullover in a beautiful cobalt blue. It has a hoodie, sporty seaming, a kangaroo pocket and thumb holes. It’s really well made and comes in so many pretty colors.

Cere Ve Lotion

Cerave Sunscreen/Moisturizer

This is such a good inexpensive daily moisturizer and sunscreen in one. It also has niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.

St Tropez Tanning Mousse

St Tropez Tanning Lotion

Still my favorite self tanner and it’s ON SALE! You get two bottles of self tanner and two tanning mitts for $59, regularly $110.

Collen Rothschilde Skincare Set

Colleen Rothschild Gentle & Clear Skincare Set

I had been using the cleansing balm, but I just got the new CR Gentle & Clear line that’s designed for blemish prone, sensitive, and reactive skin.

I’m really liking the Purifying Cleanser. I keep it out on my bathtub because I prefer to wash my face there so that the water doesn’t splash all over the sink. I’m sure I look funny leaning over the tub to wash my face, but that’s what I do.

The Purifying Cleanser combines the anti-inflammatory power of micro silver and charcoal to help reduce and prevent skin imperfections. It lifts impurities and unclogs pores, leaving my face feeling soft and clean.

Bonus, the squeeze bottle is minimal and a soft clay color that looks nice sitting out on the tub. I’m thinking this new CR Gentle & Clear line would also be good for teens or I may encourage Elliott to try.

Towelettes

Clean Skin Club Towelettes

I LOVE these! I use them to pat my face dry, then also use them while applying my makeup. Anything I need to wipe off goes onto the towel, and then I can fold it up and wipe down my wet sink with it.

The towels are ultra soft, 100% USDA bio-based (no chemicals), dermatologist tested and approved, vegan and climate pledge friendly.

Pottery Barn vase, Olive Branches

These olive branches come in a set of 3 for under $19. They give such a full, lush appearance and look lifelike.

Outdoor Space Rug

I’m really pleased with this new outdoor rug that we chose for our outdoor patio. You can see more of the the new pool and patio here.

Bath Towels

Towels

Still sooo happy with my inexpensive Walmart towels! Super absorbent from the first wash and look pretty with that texture and trim. They come in a ton of colors.

Air Fryer, toaster

Air FryerToaster

The four slice toaster is so much better for a family like ours that makes several slices of toast at a time. The toaster is touch activated and features 7 settings plus browning control. You can also use the frozen, bagel, and gluten free options for easy heating and less burning. The slots are also extra large to fit bigger things like wide bagels. They also made the base a cord wrap so you don’t have unsightly cords running loose.

The 9 quart air fryer is perfect for cooking larger amounts of food. It has a middle divider that legs you separate the things you’re cooking, but you can remove that part if you want to.

While using the divider, you can cook two meals two different ways! That is so genius! You can make it so the two foods finish cooking together at the same time. I love that option becuase it makes getting dinner on the table that much easier!

Lamp, Humidifier

LampHumidifier

This humidifier is one of my recent Amazon purchases. I like this humidifier because it holds a lot of water with a container that’s easy to fill, has a sleek touch screen and you can adjust the angle where the steam hits. It has a light you can turn on or off.

Short Planter Succulents

Planter Succulents

These succulents came packaged well and all of them were in perfect shape. I potted them in this Walmart planter and have them brightening up my back patio. The good thing about succulents is that they’re unique and very low maintenance.

Magnolia, Vase

Magnolia StemVase

The most realistic looking and feeling faux magnolias. You get a set of three and they are very full with bendable stems. The vase jug is from Pottery Barn with a small bottle neck.

Now let’s go kick Monday’s booty!

  3. Congratulations on your Marathon, it is an amazing achievement. I did a walking marathon in September (starts at Midnight and goes round Edinburgh) it was the 4th time I had done it (but not for a few years) and I had forgotten how long 26.2 miles really is. Well done to you and your brother 🙂
