Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh, new week! I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend. My weekend was nice, enjoying our mild weather (low 80s & overcast).
Elliott helped me get some chores done around the outside of the house like landscaping and re-staining the faded garage doors. I also planted a few herbs in pots and I’m so happy that I can add those to meals straight from my backyard now!
Later this week, I’ll bring you on a full tour of our backyard now that we have furniture. I’m still looking for a coffee table, end table and sunning lounge chairs, but I’m so happy with what we have so far!
My family will be here in a few weeks celebrating my daughter’s first communion, and it’s so fun to get to share the pool and backyard with them.

My petite height is always happy that Loft carries petite sizes – no alterations needed! This maxi is perfectly relaxed at the top with a knit halter, but the skirt is a bit jazzed with the gauzy texture. It also has pockets.

These jeans are the high waist, kick crop. I like how opaque they are and the ankle length lets you easily show a bit of ankle without any alteration.
Perfect for spring with the mix of florals, crochet trim and halter maxi style.
This pattern reminds me of the Marimekko brand– it’s playful with bold floral graphics. The dress is appropriate for work to church to lunch or dinner out. It has a high, smocked neckline, demure keyhole at the chest, smocked waist and pockets.

If your weather is still transitioning, this cardigan/sweater is still a good option. I got it a couple months ago, and I’m still reaching for it a ton. I think it’s so cute with the pleated shoulder, v-neck and front buttons. Even the little cuff is nice for showing off your bracelets.

I like this cap sleeve sweater for mild weather and the marled look and wide stitch gives it extra personality. It has side slits, but you could still tuck it if you wanted to.
This maxi dress if from Loft’s BEACH COLLECTION. The collection has swimsuits, coverups, vacay-ready dresses, and sunny accessories.
This dress has a smocked bodice that comes with removable shoulder straps. The print is a bold colored ikat and the skirt has a side slit and pockets.
Although you can wear this as a dress, it’s on the thin side (100% cotton), so it may be more appropriate as a coverup.

It’s quite comfortable with rubber grips to help keep the girls up. It comes with a removable convertible bra strap if you want to wear it that way. Fits TTS.

This tote is a must have for the pool or beach because it’s lightweight, shakes out sand and water easily, dries quickly and holds a ton. Comes in several colors.

Both of these sandals are already in heavy rotation here. The clear ones are perfect with dresses and skirts because they give you legs for days.
The strappy sandals are cute and comfy.
This inexpensive bag has already been on repeat here. I like how you can change the bag strap from the gold/resin chain link when going fancier or the woven when you’re more casual.

Kiehl’s Better Screen UV Serum is broad spectrum SPF 50+ and has collagen peptides. I love how it goes on invisibly and doesn’t take any time to sink into your skin. You can wear it both under AND OVER your makeup. I apply it as the last step in my skincare routine before makeup. Then, if I’m going for a walk or to the pool in afternoon, I apply it right over my makeup and it blends in beautifully.
I have to be careful with sunscreen because certain ingredients break out my face, but this one is gentle and I haven’t had any issues with it.

I don’t use self tanner on my face, but I do use these Tarte glow bronzing drops. They give you the perfect amount of glow and contain moisturizers to help plump your skin, temporarily diminishing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Was $53, now $35 and includes the hydrating primer.
Y’all! I am such a convert to this tubing mascara! It gives you incredible length and volume on your lashes, but also comes off CLEAN in tubes with just warm water! There’s NO residue left under your eyes and I LOVE that about it! $54 value, now $37 (you get 2).

If you want to go the falsies route, this little faux lashes simply press on without any glue required! Then, they gently pull off without damaging your natural lashes. I have two on the ends of my lashes in the photo below.

I’m ordering these on repeat. I not only dry my clean face with them, I also use them to wipe makeup as I’m applying, and clean the sink after using to get ready.
Still a favorite for helping grow strong healthy nails fast. I’m almost out of this jar, even though it lasts a long time.
