Holiday Party Dresses | Several Under $100
Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh, new week! Elliott and I are heading out on a cruise this week to celebrate our friend Marianna’s 40th birthday!
I’m really looking forward to spending four nights with a group of my besties that are also coming – Ali-Shaun included! Unfortunately, we couldn’t get Rhonda to brave the boat!

Holiday Party Dresses | Several Under $100
But first, today I’m sharing several black dresses that you can wear to your upcoming holiday parties. Or as a wedding guest if you have a wedding to attend. Most of these dresses will also work for your NYE celebrations.
We have long dresses, short dresses, sparkly dresses, dresses with feathers, bandeaux style, and more!
And best part is, several of these dresses are under $100, with one of my favorites being just $50!
And, I found the dress I’ll be wearing on the cruise for the “formal night”. The birthday girl asked the ladies to wear black, and she’s wearing a bold color.
Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0P/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.Â
This first dress is from Nordstrom, and a perfect option if you prefer a sparkly option with a higher neckline. This one is sleeveless with a mock neck, zipping up the back. It’s midi length with a front slit to the thigh. It’s also fully lined.

More sequin goodness, this time with stretchy, adjustable spaghetti straps and a very sassy front slit with flattering rusching. It’s also fully lined and zips up the back.
Best news: it’s under $100!

This one shoulder number is super flattering with side rusching and a thigh high front slit. It’s also quite comfortable being made of a poly/spandex jersey knit in a mid weight fabric. It’s zips on the side and is fully lined.

This is the dress I chose for the cruise! It’s insanely comfortable on with a super soft lining inside that feels like pajamas. Aside from the great comfort factor, I love the twist halter neckline with a keyhole detail.
It’s maxi length (and I’ll need an alteration), and skims the body perfectly with the perfect amount of shimmer!
Plus, it’s only $89!

This is called the “after hours sexy black maxi dress” and it lives up to its name. It’s a bandeaux style with no slip grippers underneath and a front slit with ruffle detail.
It’s made of a ponte knit fabric, so it has a nice weight to it, while being comfortable and slightly stretchy.
Great pricing on this dress at just $69!

This dress is so elegant with the sweetheart neckline, lace shoulder detail and flowy maxi skirt. The bodice has slightly padded cups and the waist has a banded tie.
You have to see the gorgeous back!

Now this is a fun one! I adore the bustier top with adjustable spaghetti straps and tiered pleated skirt. It feels fresh and modern, especially with the midi length.
The red and green also look so festive! And it’s priced right at $102.

Well, hello, you sassy thing! What a flirty, fun party dress!!
It has a stretchy, sequin bustier top with adjustable spaghetti straps and sparkly sequins. The mini skirt is ‘feather like” with little shimmery threads throughout, so you get that little bit of sparkle there too!
Only $76!

If you prefer being a bit more covered, or you tend to get chilly, you’ll love this dress. It has one long sleeve and hits maxi length with a demure front slit.
This dress feels so good on and it’s only around $50, although it looks much more expensive.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a Small
Finally, this dress is a great option if you want to wear black, but with a little colorful flair. This silky midi dress has a gorgeous warm florals throughout, adjustable spaghetti straps and a criss cross back.
It’s on the lightweight side, with a front slit.
