Hi friend! Yay for Friday! I feel like this week has flown by! It’s been super hot, but also rainy here. I’ve been hearing about the poor air quality in and around NY too, I hope y’all stay safe in that area and those in Canada too.

My Size Reference: I’m over 40, short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 lbs. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.

TALBOTS OUTFITS
I’m smitten with these crop jeans! The color is so pretty in person- a pinky/coral combo that’s fun and vibrant for summer. They’re a high waist, 5 pocket style with plenty of stretch and flattering fit. Also in black and white.
The top is also stretchy and I love how elevated it looks with the curved ruffle neckline.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous in person! It’s a beautiful ikat print, fully lined with a halter neckline. I’m excited to bring this dress with me to Mexico when Elliott and I go this month. I can totally see wearing this to a lovely lunch or romantic dinner in the city.

TALBOTS STYLE
I haven’t shopped Talbots in awhile and was so happily surprised with the stylish options they have. They have classic, well made pieces that are flattering on all body shapes. I like how easily you can mix and match these pieces too.

How fun is this colorblock dress?! It’s a stretchy ribbed knit with the most vibrant pink and red with a light pink to balance it out. It’s hitting me mide length and has one side slit to the knee. It’s also regular bra friendly.

Separates are such an easy way to mix and match pieces. This top and skirt look great together, but you can break them apart to wear with other items in your closet. The top is a smocked peplum that I rolled under to create a different look with the mocked skirt.

Here is the same smocked peplum top in white and I love it mixed with these Paige jeans. I’ve been wearing these jeans nonstop and also got them in white. They’re a high rise ankle straight leg and I had to cut about an inch off the bottom to give me the ankle length.

I’m so smitten with these stretchy bracelets. They come in a set of five and I got them in this bright orange and the gold/white combo. They’re from Amazon and the woven clutch is too.
This sundress is so easy to wear, regular bra friendly with pockets. It features a square neckline and smocked back. It comes in several solid colors too- the powder pink one is fully lined.

I may like this dress even better! It’s the same button down shirtdress style as the one above, but in a punchy pink! I cuffed the sleeve to make it feel more relaxed.

Ooh, I adore this dress for vacation! The off shoulder gives me island vibes and the eyelet detail is a sweet touch. The waist is elastic and perfect for wearing with a belt.

Great question Colleen! I just take a sharp pair of scissors and cut straight across. Then, you can take the scissors and “rough up” the hem and throw them in the washer and dryer and they will fray naturally.
