White Jeans REVIEW WINNERS

Wasn’t yesterday’s Style-A-Friend post with Ali-Shaun so fun?!  She is such a great sport to participate and I know your kind comments and compliments really made her feel good! Maybe if I bribe her, she’ll come back and make another appearance?! It was actually easy finding things she looked great in and I want to take her to more stores!

Is it too early to start talking about white jeans?!  I hope not because I’ve dedicated this entire post to them! I tried on about 15 pairs to help take the guesswork out of shopping for white jeans and I really hope this post is helpful!

If you want the Cliff Notes version (this is for YOU, Marianna!) here are the White Jean Winners!

BEST Overall = PAIGE Verdugo Ankle Skinny Jeans

BEST Budget Friendly = LOFT Modern Skinny

BEST Distressed = J Brand Low Rise Crop Skinny

BEST High Rise = Madewell 9″ High Rise Skinny (if that visible side seam doesn’t bother you!)

Style Tip:  To avoid panty lines, wear these barely there undies or these skin thongs

The review below is listed from least to most expensive and I also styled up a few of the white jeans to give you outfit ideas!

Vince Camuto Skinny Jeans

White Jeans Review - Vince Camuto

Madewell Striped V-Neck Tee (TTS)

Vince Camuto Skinny Jeans

PRICE: $69

PROS: Inexpensive, comfortable, nice weight

CONS: Back pockets sit low, pockets show

FIT REVIEW: TTS (25) Comfortable mid rise that felt better the longer they were on. They’re supposed to be ankle, but on me they’re pretty long, but it looks cute to cuff the ankle.

THUMBS UP!  If you remove the pockets- I hate when they show.

KUT from the Kloth Mia Skinny Jeans

White Jeans Review - KUT from the Kloth Mia Skinny Jeans (1)

KUT from the Kloth Mia Skinny Jeans

PRICE: $79

PROS: Inexpensive, opaque, super soft

CONS: Tight jegging that buckle around at the tush and knee

FIT REVIEW: TTS (00) These jeans are super long and skinny, so short girls will definitely need alterations. In this picture, I rolled the left leg under about 4″ so you can envision how they’d look with alterations.

THUMBS DOWN: Too cheap looking/feeling

LOFT MODERN SKINNY

loft white jeans

V-Neck Tee (TTS, XS)

LOFT MODERN SKINNY

PRICE: $79

PROS: Budget friendly, opaque, jean material with a little bit of stretch, real pockets that aren’t too long AND don’t show through!

CONS: Slight gaping in the back waist

PROS:  High rise, super comfortable and soft, faux front pockets, raw edge hem (easy to cut if too long)

CONS: Side seam is visible

FIT REVIEW:  TTS (25) the high rise makes you look extra long and lean. About 5 inches too long on me.

THUMBS DOWN: Because I just can’t get past that thick side seam showing.

Madewell 9″ High Rise Skinny

Madewell 9 in white jeans

Madewell 9″ High Rise Skinny

CONS: Side seam is slightly visible

FIT REVIEW: TTS (00) A little bit long on me.

THUMBS UP OVERALL: I LOVE these jeans, just wish that side seam was less visible!

AG Prima Cigarette

White Jeans Review - AG Prima Jeans

AG Prima Cigarette

PRICE: $198

PROS: Feel like real jean, not a jegging, sturdy weight fabric with a bit of stretch, but not too much. Totally opaque. Pockets are perfectly placed with artfully placed stitching to make your booty look good!!

CONS: Expensive

FIT REVIEW:  TTS (25) and I had the waist taken in a tad. They’re a mid-rise and the “cigarette” cut means they aren’t super skinny.

  1. I love these kinds of posts, and it’s definitely not too early to discuss white jeans. I’m currently looking now! Did you happen to try on the Articles of Society “Sarah” white jeans? I’ve worn them in the past and they tend to run large but pretty decent quality for $64! Also, can you comment on the rise length of these jeans? I’m 44 and after two kids, not keen on low rise. Any rise 9″ or more gets my vote! AG jeans tend to be a on the low-rise side. Were the Loft jeans a little higher? I may buy those. Thanks for a great post!

  2. I just tried the high rise from J crew and the pockets are too visible. Have you tried Everlane? They are a creamy white- but pretty amazing and only $69

  3. I love these posts and thought style a friend was a good one. My question is about the bedding. Where is the gray/white bedding from? Thanks.

  4. My absolute favorite white jeans are American Eagle. Not sheer, no baggy knees, tts and affordable! Thanks for this post! Great info!

  5. Have you tried the denim from Athleta? I haven’t, but my sister says they are completely amazing. Fit like a yoga pant but looks like jeans. They don’t have white yet, but I hope they will.
