Hi friend! Welcome to a brand new week! I’m so excited to share with you the touches of Fall I’ve sprinkled around the house. It doesn’t take much effort or money to make your home feel Fall friendly. In Houston, it’s more challenging to get the weather to cooperate! But, we have been lucky with a few cooler days here and there.
I kept all of our Fall decor budget friendly by shopping at places like Target, Amazon, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, and World Market. I’ll share as many links as I can below each picture so you can shop if you want to. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll answer in the comments!
C’mon in friend!
FALL FRONT PORCH
For our front porch, I simply added an inexpensive eucalyptus wreath from Walmart and I love the neutral feel. It comes with the burlap and black and white stripe ribbon, plus the farmhouse inspired Hello sign. The triple layered faux pumpkins are also from Walmart and I love how you don’t have to worry about them rotting or going bad. I do plan to add some real pumpkins soon and will probably get the white and greenish blue variety.
I have to say, our new puppy Luke just makes everything cuter! He’s had his vet checkup recently and is doing so well! He’s 4 months old now and weighs just 6 pounds!
DINING TABLE
Plates • Hyacinth Charger • Similar Napkin Ring • Napkin • Flatware • Vase • Faux Magnolia Branch • Pumpkins • Wooden Tray
In our new house, we don’t have a formal dining room, and our kitchen opens up to the dining area. I’m glad our old table fit perfectly and looks great in this space.
Plates • Woven Charger • Similar Napkin Ring • Napkin
I brought back our chic black and white spotted plates from Walmart – they are such a steal and look very Kate Spade with the gold rim! The cloth napkins bring in all of those pretty, warm Autumn colors and I think the faux leather napkin ring is so cute!
Vase • Faux Magnolia Branch • Pumpkins • Wooden Tray
I kept the centerpiece simple with just a vase and faux magnolia leaves and faux pumpkins scattered about with acorn and pinecone vase filler.
Vase • Pumpkins • Wooden Tray
Everything looks better grouped together on a tray. This is a large round wooden tray with handles by Hearth & Hand/Magnolia at Target.
Similar Candle Holders • Candles
I got these brass candlestick holders years ago on Etsy. I’m usually a fan of white candles, but the amber color are so pretty for Fall.
FLOATING SHELVES
Bowl • Vase • Cloche • Rattan Pitcher • Rattan Glasses • Riser • Similar Amber Vase • Pumpkin Candle • Watering Can • Jar with Lid • Hobby Lobby Grass and Vase
One of my favorite features in the kitchen is this long, functional bar area with beautiful wooden floating shelves. I had fun changing up the Spring decor for Fall by adding in warmer colors.

Hobby Lobby has such a great selection of faux floral and that’s where I found this magenta bunch. They’re super full, so you only need one or two bunches, depending on the size of your vessel.
This ceramic vase looks like it could come from Pottery Barn, but it and the faux florals are also from Hobby Lobby.
World Market has a great selection of potpourri and this one is cider and clove and comes with dried apple slices, berries and leaves for a lovely scent and interesting display. I saw a similar box of potpourri at Pottery Barn, but it was nearly three times the price.
COFFEE BAR
Marble Stand • Glasses • Bitters Bottle • Canisters • Mug • Similar Wooden Spoons • Gold Spoons
I love changing out the decor on this little marble stand I got at Target. One of my favorite new finds in the Hello Fall mug I got on Amazon. The bitters bottles are so pretty and hold my coffee syrups. The canisters hold coffee beans and teas.
Vase • Dried Florals • Marble Toothpick Holder • Mister • Turkish Salt & Pepper Mills
In the kitchen, next to the stove, I used an antique cutting board that I found at my friend’s shop to create a little decorative vignette. World Market also has a great selection of dried florals and this is two stems inside the black vase.
Amber Soap Bottles • Brush • Tray
Wooden Vase • Pampas Grass • Wooden Tray • Candle • Match Strike
We are definitely all about candles here. I love the ambiance and mood they provide and this one is from one of my favorite small shops on Amazon – Sweet Water Decor. They make the cutest things and are great to give as gifts.
I was also so happy with the black wooden vase. It fit the bunch of pampas grass perfectly!
BAR CART
Black Vase • Bar Cart • Basket • Artwork
I scored this gold bar cart on Amazon and have had fun styling her up for different seasons. Here, I added a black vase and faux florals from Hobby Lobby. To set a more Fall-like scene, I purchased a digital art print from Etsy and had it printed online at Mpix. Their printing is so good and it arrived very protected in a box with a cardboard backing inside.

Heading on into the living room, a statement is definitely made by this tall, feathery pampas grass. It’s so gorgeous and lush in person and came in a couple of different colors. I used three stems in this arrangement.
Match Cloche • Candle Sticks • Pumpkins • Tray
Our coffee table got the Fall update with just a bowlful of velvet pumpkins and bowl filler.

I will say I love how this garland from Walmart looks on our Fall mantle. I layered two 6-feet garland together to get a more full look.
Then, I added in twinkle lights to give it a warm glow at night!
Pottery Barn Vase • Cylinder Vase • Similar Plush Pumpkin • Velvet Pumpkins
Luke loves to snuggle on the couch with us and I’ve been laying down blankets so my white couch doesn’t get ruined. You can see he already pulled a thread from the blanket though. #puppylife
I think he is just the cutest thing, so I added in a few more photos of him here!
UPSTAIRS FOYER
Similar Mirror • Vase • Pumpkins • Similar Basket • Similar Handle Basket • Figurine • White Vase Short • Similar White Vase Tall
Here’s the scene that greets you when you walk upstairs. This is the same console table I had at my old house for over 10 years – I just added decorative pulls to it.
BEDROOM
Vase • Cherry Blossoms • Boxes • Magnifying Glass • Mirror
I really like the vibe I have in my bedroom, so all I did here was add in warmer faux florals to compliment the decor already in place.
Those red baby’s breath are from World Market, placed inside a Target vase. I also found some similar that I just ordered on Amazon.
I hope you enjoyed this peek into our Fall home. I absolutely love this season and all the warmth and coziness it brings. Even if our weather isn’t cooperating (that much), it’s still starting to feel like Fall inside – especially at night when we snuggle up on the couch with candlelight glow!
If you want to see more of our new home, here’s the full kitchen tour, living room tour, office tour and backyard. I’m so very thankful for this house! ♥
Have a fantastic day friend!
Lovely pcs and puppy!!!
Where /how do you store all your decor now that you moved? You used to have an awesome decor closet for everything.

Such a great question Nadine! I loved that holiday closet- good memory! I’m lucky to have storage above the cars in my garage at this new house and there is a storage closet- just on a much smaller scale. I’ll have to show you soon!
Beautiful fall touches. Love your style. I am a transplanted Tennessean living in San Antonio for the past 4 years. I feel you on the un-fall weather.

Yes! We had such different seasons when I lived in Ohio!
Lovely everything!! Question..do you know the paint color of your kitchen cabinets? Thank you!
Author
Hi Marguerite! Yes, the color is Magnetic Grey by Sherwin Williams. It funny how the color changes with light throughout the day- green/blue/grey tints.
You are truly a talent at decorating. So inspired! Thank you so much!
