Just (the BEST) Sales

Hi friend! I hope your week is going amazing! I’ve been catching up on little to-do’s around the house and have a plumber coming out tomorrow to look at the hot water heater.  Our new house has a tankless water heater and it’s been taking forever for the kitchen sink water to get hot.  If you have a tankless water heater, do you have that issue?  Fingers crossed we can get that taken care of.

I also had my landscaper, Jose, come out and realized that the sprinklers had been off! Oops!  But, we have the prettiest white roses blooming in the front yard!  That was a happy surprise because I didn’t realize I had white roses!e4

We’ve also made progress in our bathrooms.  We didn’t have towel bars and hand towel hooks, so Brian helped me install those.  I’m sharing these details on Stories and saving them to a “New Home” Highlight if you want to check that out.

  1. If your hot water heater is on the other side of the house from the kitchen faucet, it will take a while for it to heat up and get to the faucet. The water doesn’t stay in the tank like usual so it takes alot longer with a tankless heater. We have had one for years and this is the one drawback. Congrats on the new home!

  2. Yes, we just moved into a brand new home in late January and it is our first tankless water heater. It does take forever for the hot water at the kitchen sink. Not nearly as long in the bathrooms, thank goodness!

  3. Our thankless water heater has a pump that circulates the water constantly. 30 seconds for hot water, but my house is much smaller! It’s code in my area of dry California.

  4. Congrats on the new house! We have a tankless water heater as well. Do you have those little doorbell looking things in each bathroom and the kitchen? It took me a minute to figure out you have to press those first to get the hot water going. I also have the same cooktop as you do … it definitely runs much hotter than my old one (there were quite a few burned dinners when we first moved in haha). Buying a new build is like buying a new car now – so much to learn! Xo
