GIFTS FOR KIDS

Hi friend!  As you know, I’ve been sharing holiday gift guides all this week! I know that many of you are starting your shopping now to ensure that things arrive in time for Christmas.  That’s me too!

As promised, today I have toys for the kiddos and everything is from Walmart! I’m definitely taking advantage of Walmart’s Deals for Days where you can find great deals on things you love.

When I start my Christmas shopping, my kids are always first on my list.  Once I have their gifts in hand, I breathe a sigh of relief.  Then, it’s fun to think about the excitement of Christmas morning as they first see their wrapped presents under the tree.

I’m a big fan of wrapping as much as possible.  My parents did it that way and I think it helps prolong the gift receiving process when you have to tear through the wrapping to get to what’s inside!

Are you the “wrap everything” or “leave unwrapped” type??

Moana Doll • Did your kids love this movie as much as mine? This darling doll comes with the tiara and bottle for under $15.

Baker Doll •  This Hello Kitty baker doll comes with a sweet outfit, recipe book, pencil, cardboard cookie box, an oven mitt, 4 cookies, and 2 strawberry tarts.  She’s posable to stand and sit on her own.

Barbie Dream House • All the little girls want a Barbie Dream House and this review sums it up: This is quite the dream house for your girl. Three levels of interchangeable play areas allow for much interaction, including a moving elevator. Moveable pieces to use throughout the house invites creative play. Real lights and sounds for a fun party atmosphere. Assembly time was about an hour and a half.

Squishmallow Plush Toy • Even I can’t avoid cuddling with this thing!  It’s a super soft little unicorn “squishmallow” toy. Perfect for cuddling or laying on like a pillow.

Hot Wheels • These toys never go out of style.  My daughter loves playing with hotwheels and racing the cars all over the house.  They’re under $5 for a pack of 5!

Hoverboard • I found this Hoverboard at Walmart for under $100, which is a great price.  Kids (and adults) love them, just be careful!

Detective Mysteries Game • I’m thinking of getting this game for my 11 year-old son.  He loves geography and this game is interactive and allows kids to search around the world using maps to solve mysteries.  In the process, you find landmarks and learn about new places.

Beyblades • My 6th grader is beyond these now, but a few years ago, he couldn’t get enough of these.  Kids can play with these launchers by themselves or with friends.  You see whose Beyblade Disc spins the longest.

Huffy Bike • When I was growing up, Christmas was always when we would get a new bike and I’m sure I had a Huffy.  This one is a great price with over 1,000 positive reviews.

Easy Bake Oven • Did you have this growing up?!  I didn’t even realize it was still around!  You preheat it for 20 minutes and it actually cooks small, edible food in the tray it comes with!

Walmart has gifts for absolutely everyone on your list (even pets!) and a convenient Gift Finder to help you shop.  You can see my picks for gifts for Her, Home and Beauty here.

  1. Don’t throw out the Beyblades! For some reason they come back to them in highschool. I host a lot of the pasta dinners before meets and they bring them. It totally cracks me up!
