A Good Halloween

I hope y’all had a great Halloween.  We ended up trick-or-treating with our new neighbors who have a daughter James’ age.  Our little DJ Lance wouldn’t wear the hat and the glasses were too big- oh, well!

This was the only picture we got together- he’s so busy!

Isn’t our friend’s daughter adorable- she’s two years old with the cutest curls.  James loved giving and receiving the candy. And he always said, “thank you.” 🙂

Jen- that loot is the candy we bought to pass out! 🙂 And we still have most of it, minus the two milky way I just ate!

Aww! We just got back from Balboa Island Newport Beach where they really do it up for Halloween. My daughter did pretty well but she was taking it all in. Our friends have a 6 month old and we can't wait until he is old enough to play with Leighton!

James is so cute!! A darling costume, too. The little girl is a doll and those curls! Glad they enjoyed their Halloween. I stayed home and passed out candy. It's always so fun to see the little ones.

Too adorable…this is the perfect age to enjoy Trick or Treating! We have so much candy now at this house I'd have to work in a LOT of offices to get rid of it all! Yikes…Janell

Your little DJ Lance is precious!! And I love polite trick or treaters. Sometimes I feel like the little ones are more polite than the older kids!

The best part of Halloween is seeing the cute little ones come around in their darling costumes.

Its adorable to see when they say trick or treat and thank you at this age.

love those hibiscus bushes. I planted mine 3 years ago and though it has new leaves and flowers every yr hasnt grown in size at all! Did you plant them big or do you give them special care.

SO cute! I can't wait to live in an area that gets trick or treaters so I can see all the great costumes! I have either lived in a rural area or a place with a community gate. 🙁 I still try to dress up every year. This year I was a phone (I'm a receptionist). Pictures on the blog.

So fun. My two year old kept telling her brothers, "Come on guys, let's get more candy." My 6 year old who had two extra hands on his costume said, "You can give me extra candy because I have 4 arms." Just lovely.
