Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog and to a brand new week! We’ve been soaking up these last few days before school starts this week. I can’t believe it’s already here! We’ll be meeting the kids’ teachers today and tomorrow and then their first day of school is Thursday!
Summer sure went fast this year. On the bright side, I always look forward to the familiar routine that the school year brings. The kids do better with that and I do too. It also helps with my fitness because most days I do my workout right after school drop off. That will feel so good to get moving in the morning on a regular basis again.

Today, I’ll be sharing what’s inside my fridge, how I organize everything, and how I keep it fingerprint-free!
WHAT’S IN MY NEW FRIDGE
If you follow me on Stories, you saw that my new refrigerator arrived a couple of weeks ago. My previous fridge was 11 years old, been repaired a few times, and the water/ice dispenser didn’t work consistently and one of the lights inside was broken.
I searched and searched to find the best one for our kitchen and was limited by counter depth and the built-in cabinet around it. I’m so happy with the one I found and it fit the space perfectly! It has french doors and a freezer drawer on the bottom.

I love how sleek it looks with the filtered water dispenser being on the inside as opposed to on the front of the door. It looks so much cleaner this way.
This stainless steel version didn’t come with fingerprint resistance, but that hasn’t been an issue and I’ll share my tips for keeping the doors clean and shiny below.
I’m also sharing what kinds of things I buy on repeat and keep stocked in my fridge! These are things I eat as well as certain things for the kiddos. I love these little sneak peeks and hope you enjoy too!
Before we get into all the details, you should know that all of my healthy (and not-so-healthy;) grocery items can be purchased at Walmart, and for less!
Y’all know how much I enjoy my Walmart+ membership because it lets me order my groceries online and have them delivered right to my door without ever having to leave the house.
I typically keep a running grocery list online and as I run out of things, or need things for a new recipe, I simply add them to my cart.
When it’s time to checkout, if you need things super quick, you can pay a $10 Express Delivery charge (as a Walmart+ member, they waive the delivery fee) and get your items right away.
Usually, I opt for the ‘need it soon’ option, and as a Walmart+ member I get free delivery from my store the same day with my $35 minimum order.
Or, you can choose to get your items tomorrow with free shipping and no order minimum. Just be sure to select Walmart+ eligible products, excluding freight and Marketplace items.
And, did you know that the free delivery from your Walmart store isn’t just for groceries? You can choose from almost anything they sell in the store. So, if you’re looking for a convenient one-stop shop, you can also add to your cart school supplies, uniforms, and other necessities.
Starting with the right side door, you KNOW my coffee creamer is of utmost important to me and I always start my day with a cup of coffee. I have my creamer/coffee ratio down to a science and add two tablespoons of Vanilla Caramel Creamer and one tablespoon of Silk Caramel Creamer for the perfect cup!
On this door is also various condiments, dressings and the egg whites I eat nearly daily. I add them to my protein pancake and when I eat whole eggs, I’ll usually add a 1/3 cup of egg whites for more protein.
I like how the door bins are nice and large and fit plenty of things. You can also move them up or down depending on the height of your items.
Fat Free Raspberry Viniagrette Dressing – So good with a bit of sweetness and no fat.
Hummus – We always hummus have on hand for snacks and eat it with chips, bell peppers, cucumbers, celery and carrots.
Ranch Dressing – Jordan’s favorite for dipping chicken nuggets and veggies.
Poppy Seed Dressing – So yummy!
Liquid Aminos – tastes similar to soy sauce, but contains amino acids and almost no calories
Strawberry Preserves Bon Manman – If I’m craving toast with jelly or a good old fashioned PB&J, this is the jelly I prefer.
Strawberry Jam – The kids like this kind.
Garlic Minced – James loves garlic bread and when I buy it pre-minced, he can add it to the bread himself. It also makes for quick dinners if you want to skip the chopping step.
I always have fresh salad greens like butter lettuce, spinach and kale on hand and keep those in a ‘keep fresh’ container. I recently changed out my plastic meal prep containers for glass ones and I really like how I can see what’s inside.
This week, I made shrimp, peas, and rice for a few meals.
Almond Milk – As I’ve gotten older, dairy doesn’t agree with me very well, so I drink Almond milk.
Fairlife Chocolate Milk – The kids love this and I also add it to an iced espresso for an at-home iced mocha.
Oikos Triple Zero Greek Yogurt – If you saw my healthy snack post, you know this is a staple in my house. This Greek yogurt not only tastes delicious, it has 15 grams of protein, no added sugar, 0 fat and only 100 calories.
Feta – I add a bit to Greek salads.
Kraft 2% American Cheese Slices – A must-have for grilled cheese sandwiches.
BabyBel Cheese – Jordan likes this and it travels well in her school lunch.
We always have fresh fruit on hand and I like to serve a little with each meal and also as snacks. There’s a big fruit drawer in this fridge and put whole items like apples, oranges, plums, peaches and lemons here.
I also pre-wash and decant items like strawberries, watermelon and blueberries and keep them on the adjustable shelves.
I buy a mix of fresh and frozen veggies. My kids love corn on the cob, so we eat that pretty often. Jordan’s favorite vegetable is broccoli so I keep that on hand too. When I meal prep, I usually have a cup of veggies at each meal.
I like to keep things like carrots and bell peppers in small containers that are easy to grab and snack on.
Avocado – I keep those and tomatoes (technically fruits) on the counter.

I keep meat in the drawer next to the cheese.
Turkey Sausage Links – 90 calories for 3 links and 11 grams of protein. I like to eat them in the morning with eggs.
Center Cut Bacon – When we eat bacon, this is the kind we enjoy.
Turkey Hot Dogs – For Jordan.
This refrigerator has a filtered water dispenser inside and I really like that feature. It’s less convenient than having the water on the front of the door, and you have to use two hands to get the water (one to push the button and one to hold the cup), but I still like how it looks so much better!
I’m still not used to bending down to open the freezer drawer, but I really like this set up.
I rely heavily on frozen veggies since they stay fresh until you’re ready to eat.
And of course, we have sweet treats. My kids love ice cream and these single serving sizes allow them to serve themselves. Jordan likes to add sprinkles to hers.
I’m crazy for the Yasso Greek Yogurt Bars and particularly the sea salt caramel crunch flavor. They are DELICIOUS! I take them off the stick and put it in a small bowl and eat it with a spoon.
WHAT’S IN MY OLD FRIDGE
I do think this extra storage will come in handy for freezer meals (these labels are so handy!) and when we have large gatherings like at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
HOW I KEEP MY FRIDGE FINGERPRINT FREE
My friend/assistant Rhonda has the same fridge and loves hers too. She told me the secret to keeping her fridge looking shiny and new and fingerprint free. She wipes it clean with WD40! I tried it and it really works.
You spray a bit of Wd40 onto a microfiber cloth and then buff it into your fridge surface in long, sweeping strokes, making sure to rub it in really well. You can look at your fridge from different angles to see any spots you missed.
In the photo below, you can see behind me where I wiped.
Notice the fingerprints and marks inside the door here.
They disappear after a quick wipe down.
I still can’t get over how much I love this new fridge and how much better it makes the entire kitchen look!
