Hi friends! Our Christmas break starts at noon today! I’m so giddy and ready for the week off with my kids. It’s been go, go, go lately and I’m looking forward to slowing down and chilling and savoring the season with them. We’ll go see Santa on Monday with their cousin, make gingerbread houses, watch movies, bake, go to the park, and I even bought a big puzzle we can work on together.

DRESSING ROOM | WINTER OUTFITS
Today is a new dressing room post, filled with lots of winter outfits, and so many good sweaters! Our weather has been downright cold and we’ve even had to put the heater on!
SIZE REFERENCE : I’m petite, 5’1, about 110 pounds. I usually wear 0P or 25 in jeans and XS or 0P tops.

Y’all went crazy for this MERRY sweatshirt when I wore it for Tuesday Goodies.
The word MERRY is spelled out in cute capital terrycloth letters, and the shirt is a navy sweatshirt by 1901. I find 1901 runs a little small in the chest, but my normal size, XS, was fine after I had it on for a bit.
Sweatshirt Fit: I’m wearing an XS
AG jeans are one of my favorite designer brands and I have this style in mid-rise, but every time I put them on, I wish they were high-rise. I was happy to see this style in a high-rise at Nordstrom! They are a perfect mid-tone color, solid without rips or distressing.
Jeans Fit : 26, I sized up in these jeans because I thought I might need to, but actually, I would prefer my true size, 25

Isn’t this a fun modern take on fair aisle? The geometric pattern is adorable and the bottom part looks like Christmas lights! It’s hard to tell in the above photo, but there is detailed cable stitching at the chest and a mock neck. You can see it better below.

I’m crazy for this ski weekend sweater and the red, blush pink, and deep purple stripes. The color blocking is so cute and it feels super soft and stretchy on.
Sweater Fit: I’m wearing an XS
Every time I’ve tried on a pair of Good American jeans, I’ve really liked them! They hug your curves perfectly without any gaping at the waist.
This pair has double ripped knees but they are super exaggerated and I appreciate how they aren’t way too long on me, although I did have to do a little roll to cuff here.
Jeans Fit : As recommended, I sized down one to a 00. At first they were tight, and I wondered if I should have gotten my normal size, but as I wore them for awhile, they loosened up a bit and the fit was perfect.

Doesn’t the sweater just say Christmas?! It’s the softest tunic with a deep V, perfect for letting you layer a camisole underneath. You can wear it front tucked or long and it looks great both ways.

I’m wearing my FRAME jeans that I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. They are seriously one of the most comfortable pair of jeans I own! They go on like butter and so easy to wear all day long!
They have a slim leg and also look really good with heels for a night out!

I must have skiing on my brain because this sweatshirt caught my eye too! You can’t go wrong with a grey sweatshirt and sneakers on the weekend! But the pop of pink in the letters is fun.

Ooh, this sweater is a keeper! It’s dark navy and I love how some stars are hollow and some are filled in and how they’re asymmetrically placed. The sweater looks great with dark wash jeans and brown booties, but would also go well with white jeans.

CHEERS to the weekend, the new year, to making it through 2020! I think I found my NYE top! This is a lightweight black sweater and the word ‘cheers’ is spelled out in sequin letters that catch the light and sparkle!

Here is the tee with the Gibson jacket we all loved from the Nordstrom sale. It’s so awesome because it’s structured like a professional blazer, but it’s a soft knit that you’ll be comfortable in all day long. And, a contrasting sleeve is revealed when you cuff it.

If you want to feel luxe and look dressed up, velvet is always a good idea. The velvet makes this puff sleeve top so luxuriously soft and the deep green is gorgeous in person! Where are my red heads?! Jessica raises her hand! You would be stunning in this!
I’d love to see it dressed up with black jeans or pants, or a skirt for any holiday get togethers you have.

Who’s with me on grey jeans?! I love them for a change and they look so good with nearly every color! This pair is a skinny, high waist jean by LOFT and they fit perfectly in all the right places.

Of yes to this 2021 pullover! It’s unassuming since the 2021 is in small print, but I like how it’s done in a metallic print, scattered among the stars.
I’m also CRAZY for this Loft jeans! They’re a skinny style with a medium wash and only a tiny bit of distressing at the hip. They also have a chewed hem and looked really figure flattering on.

This henley looked kind of boxy on the hanger, but on, it fit great, and didn’t look too boxy at all. In fact, I really liked how it fit and the neckline is perfect with the cute button detail.

I scored this chunky knit cardigan at Target! I adore the texture on it and the pale blue color. It comes with a belt, so you can wear it belted, but I like how it looked worn open.

This sweater is one of my favorites from this post! It’s so beautiful with the fair isle and delicate coziness with the eyelash finish. I love how it looks with black jeans.

I wasn’t sure how this long cardigan would look on, but once I actually tried it, I really like it! It’s definitely for your fancier nights out since it has a gold lame’ look with a bit of shimmer. It comes with a tie belt, but I simply tied it to my back.

This jacket is a MUST HAVE! I’ve been dreaming of something similar and GibsonLook nailed it with this one! The style is amazing and it’s so fun! It’s lined with a super soft, almost soft t-shirt feel, so it feels as comfy as pajamas against your skin. I also like how the sleeve hem has elastic to it, so when you scrunch your sleeves up, they stay put!
You’ll be able to wear this jacket with so many outfits- with skirts, dresses, jumpsuits, even a sassy pair of evening shorts or faux leather pants. And, of course, it’ll always be a no brainer with jeans, heels and a white cami!
