30 Summer Outfits & Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Preview!

Hi friends and Happy Friday! I’m coming to you from a much lighter and brighter home! Ruben came over with his crew yesterday and painted the exterior of our home! There were some changes along the way, but it looks so much better!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Preview

The NSale is usually in July, but they pushed it to August this year with staggered shop dates. I think the later start is better because it’s closer to the time when you’ll actually be ready to wear Fall clothes! And I’m so ready to see the new styles after months of living in comfies and being at home all the time! Seeing something new for the change of seasons will be fantastic!

WHAT IS THE NSALE?

In case you’re new to the Nordstrom Sale or this is your first time shopping it, let me give you the scoop!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of THE sale of the year because it’s when Nordstrom marks down all of the BRAND NEW Fall items! The cool thing is, these items are new and not clearance items that they are trying to liquidate. These are the newest Fall styles that you’ll want to be wearing this year!

They also mark down items that rarely go on sale – think Barefoot Dreams blankets! Prices go up to full price when the sale is over.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SALE?

The 2020 preview is live TODAY! You can get an idea for what items will be included in the sale and get your shopping list ready! I always look first for boots and booties, jeans, cardigans/jackets, workout clothes, new bras and pajamas, and winter jackets for the kids. But there are also always great deals on jewelry, bags and beauty items that I can never pass up! I’m also hunting for future birthday and Christmas gifts!

WHAT NORDY CLUB STATUS AM I?

The sale start dates are arranged based on your Nordstrom Cardmember Status. You can find out your Nordy Club status here. Then login and click “My Account”.

WHEN CAN I START SHOPPING?

Once you know your Nordstrom Cardmember Status, you can start shopping on the following dates. You must have a Nordstrom card to get to shop the exclusive early access period! It’s a good idea to have the card because things sell out so fast every year and as a cardmember, you’ll also enjoy other perks!

The higher your status, the sooner you get to shop.

WHAT IS EARLY ACCESS?

Early Access offers Nordstrom cardholders exclusive access to the sale before non-cardholders. This year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Early Access dates are from August 4 through August 18. The sale opens to the general public on August 19.

Shopping Early Access is the best time to ensure that the items you want will be available, before they sell out.

HOW DO I GET EARLY ACCESS?

Early access to the sale is available to all Nordstrom cardmembers. Access is available to all card levels and card types. If you don’t have a card, you can sign up for one here.

SHOULD I SHOP IN-STORE OR ONLINE?

Select stores are open for shopping with social distancing guidelines in place, but the is sale is very popular and the stores are usually quite busy. I anticipate with COVID that most people will be shopping from home, which means things will likely go even faster. You’ll also get the best selection by shopping online since all stores don’t carry the same inventory.

You’ll get FREE shipping and FREE returns, and Nordstrom also offers curbside pickup, expedited shipping, same-day delivery (for select areas), and also international shipping.

HOW DO I GET A NORDSTROM CARD?

If you want to shop during the Early Access period, you’ll need a Nordstrom card.

Nordstrom offers two types of cards, the retail card or Visa Signature card. Both cards provide the same Nordstrom benefits, including early access to the sale. However, Visa Signature cardholders will earn additional Nordstrom points with any purchase using the card. Applying is easy and you can start shopping instantly, if approved.
