It’s always more fun shopping with a friend and I know y’all love it when I bring Ali-Shaun with me. I love it to! She brings her own perspective, tons of laughs, and another shape for you to see how the clothes look.
My Size Reference: I’m short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 and wear a 34D bra. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.
Ali-Shaun Size Reference: She’s taller (5’4), with an hourglass shape, small waist and fuller bust. She usually wears a size 8-10 in jeans, and Medium/Medium Petite or size 8 in tops and dresses.

We got started with a traditional Fall outfit, something you might see either of us in on a weekend. Plaid button downs are a closet staple because they can be easily worn with a cardigan, under a pullover or untucked with leggings. We both liked the soft feel and colors in these tops.
Both jeans were keepers too.

Oh yes, honey, the popular AG Farrah jeans are included in the sale. AG is my favorite designer denim and the pair I always feel most chic and confident in. The Farrah is a comfortable high rise jean, the wash is just right with slight whiskering and a v-cut hem. They hold their shape tremendously well so you’ll never have a sagging booty in these!
Jeans Fit : I sized down 1 and would need to get the length altered. Your alterations can keep the v-cut hem (that’s a cute detail!) even when altering the length.
I bought these knee boots and love the fit, shape, color and style – they’ll go with practically everything in your wardrobe. They have a 3 inch heel and 14 1/2 shaft circumference.

Dang, I didn’t get a picture of Ali-Shaun in this sweater, which is such a shame becasue she looked GORGEOUS in it. The color was so flattering with her dark hair and green eyes!
It’s a chunky knit with a relaxed fit, and also comes in a lovely lavender.

You’ll definitely want to stock up on this basic long sleeve tee. It’s nearly sold out in the ‘oatmeal’ and ‘gold – tobacco’ colors, but the grey and red that we’re wearing are fully stocked!

A colorful scarf is my #1 tip for adding a punch of color and pattern to your outfit. It also keeps you warm!

For a ‘wear now’ outfit, this smocked top with frilly collar and sleeves is so cute! I liked every color – and it also comes in blue and white. You could wear it with every shade of jeans and also dress it up for work with slacks or a skirt.

Gibson sent a few things my way and this cowl neck sweater was my fave! It’s that supersoft thin knit fleece material we’ve all gotten spoiled with, and you can also wear it off the shoulder.

This animal print clutch also comes in leopard! I couldn’t decide, so I bought both! They are a great size, with inside pockets and a zip pocket, magnetic closure and gold crossbody chain strap. There’s also a nice little pocket on the back for things you need quickly!!
They measure 10” W x 5 1/4” H x 1/2” D.

Shannon recommended these jeans and she was right on! They are only $28 and fit and feel much more expensive. The ripped pair is sold out, but the solid is still available.
The cozy printed shirt is a top we both didn’t want to take off. It’s perfect for Fall ball games, grocery runs or just lounging around the house.
Of course the Caslon wedge sneaker is super popular this year. We both went home with it!

The two leopard print cardigans were so popular that they sold out early, but I’m including them in case there are restocks. Ali-Shaun was making fun of hers at first, but when she put them with her black tights, she changed her tune!
One thing’s for sure, the t-shirts are closet staples. If you don’t have these or yours have seen better days, stock up now before the price goes up!

After Ali-Shaun put these tights on, she wanted to wear every top and cardigan with them. I finally made her put “real clothes” on, but first I indulged her in wearing them with this Cardigan. It’s a sporty look with the Wedge Sneakers, but it could be made dressier with booties.
We also liked this look with the denim button down underneath.

A military jacket is always a good idea! We both loved the sturdiness and attention to detail in this one. You can treat camo like you would any other neutral and pair it with almost anything. Camo and stripes is a classic combo.

Ali-Shaun and I both loved this quilted jacket. It’s got a fluffy fleece lining inside and diamond quilting on the outside. The length and the fit is great and we’re crazy for all the pockets! You can also machine wash it. We’re wearing the pewter/greyish color, but it also comes in a gorgeous rose pink!

The super popular teddy bear fleece pullover is back and in a pretty new ivory/black trim option AND in size XS! Praise!! I do like this color combo, but ended up getting the charcoal grey.

This Zella fleece jacket feels like you’re being given a cozy bear hug. It definitely is an oversized fit, but so dang cozy with the soft jersey lining.

Dang this is a good coat. It’s got all the bells and whistles you’ve come to expect from The North Face like high-tech PrimaLoft insulation to keep you super warm, but won’t take up a lot of room in your suitcase. I love the elastic binding at the cuffs that keep cold air out and the cozy hood that protects your neck and head from the elements. It’s also long enough to cover your rear so it’s not freezing either!

I’m always team jumpsuit and love this sleek style. It’s a sophisticated sleeveless jumpsuit that would be perfect for a party or fancy dinner out. Even though I’m wearing 0P and heels, it would still need an alteration on me.

Ali-Shaun found two great dresses that will take her from work to dinner after. This first one was so flattering on her with the the tie waist and ruffled hem. Not to mention that deep green looks great on her with her green eyes and dark hair. The material is a textured jacquard and I think she’ll be able to wear this now with the heels she’s in and with tights and booties when it gets chilly.

We also loved her in this bold floral patterned dress. Doesn’t she look so good?! We belted it to accentuate her tiny waist, but she pulls off the pattern beautifully and I like it with the booties!

You better believe we beelined straight for Barefoot Dreams cardigans. This new short sleeve version is my fave! I’ve already worn it around the house, out to coffee and I packed it in my San Antonio bag.

These jammies are so, so soft and cozy! I definitely say get them and thank me later! They’re menswear inspired, super soft with a bit of stretch, and feel so good on!

This gingham pair of pajamas was also so darling, but very long! I was swimming in the XS, but if you’re taller, I bet you’ll love them!
ACCESSORIES
Ali-Shaun and the Nordstrom Associate we talked to both said this Longchamp Expandable Tote will definitely sell out quickly, so I showed it to you in my first post. Even though it looks all tiny and small here, it actually unfolds into two bigger tote sizes.
It’s really genius. Ali-Shaun loves to travel with hers and swore by the quality and water resistant nylon with leather strap and handles.
