Hello friends! Yesterday kicked off a brand new month, and I have officially decided it’s time to ACCEPT my new normal, instead of resisting it. Like we were talking about yesterday, I had to stop and pause to take everything in. So much of our normal daily life has been interrupted, so it takes time to wrap your head around it and process the change.
Now, I’m choosing to EMBRACE this time and am learning how to adjust. Like anyone who has young kids at home, it’s been really challenging for me to work and also to know what I should be sharing.
As a blogger, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to keep us connected online, and I want to share things that will be useful and helpful to you during this time. And also FUN things! Remember that?! I think for a lot of us, we want an escape from this virus talk and a chance to feel normal again.
With that in mind, I took some time to plan out my blog content for April and I’m excited about the month ahead!
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing a capsule stay/work at home wardrobe (& fundraiser update), and then I’ll have my skincare routine, April Loves, healthy smoothie recipes, Jordan’s room, a new Q&A, athletic styles, Spring fashion, and of course I’ll keep you posted on the best sales!
If you follow me on Stories, you’ll catch more behind the scenes videos, workouts, healthy meals, organization and beauty tips.
Let me know in the comments what else you’d like to see here. I always appreciate your feedback!
EASTER BASKET GOODIES ON PRIME
And yesterday, I realized Easter is in less than two weeks and I need to prepare! Let’s rest assured that we are in good hands with a Risen Savior that is still in control! We can cast all of our worries and thoughts onto Him and rejoice in the goodness of our God!
I love getting Easter baskets for the kiddos and filling them with all kinds of fun goodies. And of course, we have to decorate eggs and have an Easter egg hunt.
Playfoam • Happy Easter Banner • Easter Basket • Easter Bunny • Striped Swimsuit • Terrycloth Swim Coverup • Swimsuit • Swim Trunks • Kids Sunglasses • Kids YETI Water Bottle • Six Piece Girls Pajama Set • Joke Book • Adventure Bible • Gardening Kit
Playfoam • I love to get a toy that will get lots of use and that the kids will play with for hours. This is it!
Happy Easter Banner • I was so happy to find an Easter banner that will arrive quickly! It’s burlap and got all 5-star reviews.
Easter Basket • What a cute Easter basket with the double handles and daisy lining!
Easter Bunny • I can’t resist putting a stuffed bunny in the basket (along with a hollow chocolate one). This one is so sweet with the floppy ears and big feet.
Kids YETI Water Bottle • Jordan has this mini Yeti and it’s adorable, plus indestructible and keeps drinks really cold.
Six Piece Girls Pajama Set • Cute and comfy jammies are always a good idea.
Joke Book • If your kid loves jokes as much as mine, this would make a great gift.
Adventure Bible • This is the Bible I got James last year and he still uses it and loves it.
Gardening Kit • Fresh air and digging in dirt is good for the soul. This little gardening kit is legit!

MARCH AMAZON BEST SELLERS
Visor • This visor has a nice, wide brim- perfect for shielding your face from the sun. It velcros at the back of your head and then you can put your hair up in a messy bun! I’m all about this!! Also, the visor rolls up into a tiny little thing that you can easily pack or throw into your pool bag! #genius!!! I have the black and just bought the tan.
Flamingo Earrings (reg $48, now $19)
Tank Jumpsuit • Another work from home favorite! The material is really soft and stretchy, with a bit more weight to it so it feels nice and substantial.
V-Neck Tank • I really like the fit and soft feel of this tank. It’s only $12!
Star Pullover • This pullover has a 3/4 zip front, kangaroo pocket, and a terry fleece material. It comes in other colors, even a cute rainbow stripe.
Wide Leg Dress Pants – I cannot say enough great things about these new wide leg crop pants. They simply pull on without any zipper or button (so sleek!) and they feel amazing on, being nice and thick.
Straw Crossbody – I’m also smitten with the woven and faux leather crossbody bag. It’s on the petite side, but will definitely hold all of your essentials. It has an inside zip pocket and open wall pocket. The tassel is a fun touch!
Striped Swimsuit • This one is fully appropriate for splashing with the kids, but doesn’t look like a ‘mom suit’. The ruffled criss cross back is a fun touch.
Skinny Belt • I’m not surprised with this one! They come in a pack of 4 and go with everything! You can wear them with dresses or in the belt loops of your pants or jeans.
Sun Hat • We’re all about this sun hat that looks fantastic on everyone, shields your face from the sun and is nearly indestructible. Mine is still going strong with lots of use, travel and pool time.
AMAZON HOME BEST SELLERS
Egg Cooker • I’m really impressed with how easily and perfectly this cooks eggs! And I don’t know why, but they are super easy to peel too.
Microwave Plate Cover • This genius device fits over your plate/bowl/container while you’re cooking or reheating your food, and any splashes are contained to the cover. It washes super easy!
No Fall Sponge Holder • I love that this holder does.not.fall and holds both my sponge and scrub brush.
My Amazon Storefront has all my favorites and recommendations listed by category.
I have taken out my tape-in extensions, but this post has all the details on them including: how they’re applied, how long they last, how to care for them, and where I got mine done. I also shared how I style my shoulder length hair with a curling iron. It only takes minutes!
I shared a few new products from my last Sephora run and so many have become daily faves!
I’m all about these two smocked maxi dresses! I sized down to XXSP in them.
Of course, we’re all looking for cozy goodness right now, and these are definitely the types of pieces I’ve been reaching for lately.
A huge congrats to the March Loves winner, Erin, who subscribed to my blog in 2012! Thank you for being here so long Erin! She won all of the things below!
FAVORITES FOR THE HOME
So many of these things are in use daily, and now more than ever!
Like many of you, we’re homeschooling now. I cannot say enough great things about our teachers and how hard they are working to prepare lessons and make sure our kids are still learning while at home. They deserve the biggest kudos!
We got real personal with this one! Thank you so much for your honest questions and I hope you appreciated my candid responses. I have more questions to answer in a Part 2!
Thank you all so much for choosing to spend part of you day here with me.
Have a fantastic day friends!
