Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!

  2. I’m almost 67 and proud to say I’m still doing push ups on my toes! Love. Your posts about clothes keep me up to date!

  3. I’m 72 soon to be 73. Love your posts on fashion. I’m in the “new normal” aging group that likes to look current. Since I live on a retirement income I can’t afford Nordstrom’s but love me some Amazon etc. keep up the good work and let the fun keep coming.

  4. Happy birthday! I really enjoy your blog and check in almost daily. I appreciate the sales you share and all the home posts too.

  5. Happy Birthday Megan! I’m 54 and though it sounds cheesy; I truly feel it’s just a number. I enjoy reading your blog we are the same height, weight and busty so I’ve found some cute pieces to add to my closet. Thanks

  6. Hi, Megan. I tried using the WINBIG code on the J Crew Factory dresses and is says the code cannot be applied??

    Thank you.! Love your Blog!

Have a wonderful day! Your blog is a blessing to us. I am 45 years young and live in western Canada.

  8. I am 58 (wtf? It looks way older when I write it down!!!)
I had my daughter 4 weeks before I turned 40 – a late baby keeps you young!!!!
Have a wonderful day tomorrow – you deserve the best! (start with coffee and end with a margarita and your gfs!!)

  9. Happy Birthday , Megan!
I’m 51 (and 3/4 – ha!) and a long time follower. Had my youngest son at 42. My boys are 24, 21, just about 17 and 9. Love your blog and postivie attitude

  10. Happy birthday, Megan! I’ll be 34 one month from today. I’m trying to conquer the frump (in my house too) as I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the “little years” tunnel of survival (my children are almost 3, 4, and 5!), and you’re my example of the fact that age is relative! I too want to look gorgeous and have purpose, hobbies, time alone a couple times a day (first thing in the morning, and then in the afternoon) to rejuvenate, and a great daily routine for our family! ?

    1. Laura, you definitely have your hands full with those kids- they require so much energy! I’m so glad you are carving out some time for you. I know I feel so much better when I do that for myself!

  11. Happy birthday Megan! I turned 40 this past year! I am so glad that I found your blog – I feel like we have so much in common! I love your style – I am also 5’1″ and my son will be 10 in May and my daughter will be 4 in October! 🙂
