Amazon Fashion Faves

Good morning friends and happy Friday!  I’m coming to you one year older, having celebrated my 45th birthday yesterday!  It feels like turning 45 is a bigger deal than turning 40 because it’s so close to 50!  But, I feel so young (most of the time!) and I think 45 isn’t what it used to be!  Now, the 40s are so good and you’re really getting to know yourself, your worth, what’s important to you. And you can still be vibrant and strong with lots of energy!

I know I need it with young kids still at home! Lots of times I find myself collapsing into bed right after I put Jordan down to sleep. 😉

I feel so very blessed to have the friends and family that I do.  Yesterday, I woke up to a beautiful poem that James wrote for me, went to brunch with one of my long-time girlfriends, then to dinner with two more friends I’ve known for over 20 years.

On Sunday, Ali-Shawn and my special crew of moms are having brunch with me. And you guys are the BEST community of readers and have supported me through some of the most challenging times of my life.  I appreciate your encouragement and that you choose to spend part of your day here with me.  THANK YOU so very much!

AMAZON TOP FIVE BEST SELLERS

Today is a brand new Amazon fashion faves post, but before I share what I found this time, here’s a look at your faves from my last post.

5 Adidas Leopard Sneaks • I’ve been wearing mine all the time and feel so EXTRA in them! Size down one.

4  Daily Ritual Skinny Jeans • For the third week in a row, these go-to skinny jeans made the Top 5.  I seriously live in these.  They are a mid-rise jean with a good bit of stretch that fit your body amazingly well without pinching or pulling.  *I wore them to my birthday dinner!

3 Seamless Undies • They are giving my VERY FAVORITE SEAMLESS UNDIES from Nordstrom a run for their money.  I like this style because they don’t give you panty lines, and they also stay put.  Only $13 for a set of 4! 

2 Balloon Sleeve Top •  This blouse comes in tons of colors and prints.  It’s lined in the front so it’s opaque, but the sleeves are more sheer, with a balloon style shape.  It will be versatile for work, church or a night out.

1 Clover Necklace • We all went crazy for the clover earrings!  Y’all sold out my original one, but the earrings are still available in a chic black.  The clover necklace is just as good and can be layered for a shorter, double look.

AMAZON FASHION FAVES

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110.  I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.  Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

Sleeveless Polka Dot Top • Jeans • Belt • Heels • Wrap Bracelet

Let’s start with this happy little surprise of a top!  It’s one of my favorite Amazon tops so far and I love that it comes in both sleeveless and 3/4 sleeve.  The longer sleeve one has a roll-tab so the sleeves stay comfortably up. The material is nice a soft with some stretch to it.

You can wear it tucked in or out and the tunic length is long enough for leggings.

Another great blouse is this one with balloon sleeves and a chevron texture to it. The body is fully lined, while the sleeves are sheer.

I thought this lavender blouse was so feminine and pretty with the almost leopard inspired print.  The sleeves have a little bell to them.  Like the top above, this one is fully lined with sheer sleeves.

I couldn’t resist beginning to look at cami’s again and found this sweet one in a medallion print.

This top didn’t look like much on the hanger, but I was impressed once I put it on.  It’s a fun take on your basic black tee with the lace sleeves, but there’s also a little peep hole back! Such a cute way to dress up your jeans.

If you bought the paper bag waist pants I’ve been recommending, you can wear this top with them for a night out look.

Top Fit: I’m wearing a Small 

Another great night out top is this off-shoulder blouse.  The smocked part at the top has enough elastic to keep it in place, but it’s not tight.  I love how the waist is smocked and with the peplum style shape that accentuates your figure.

Tweed Jacket • Jeans • Wrap Bracelet

This tweed style jacket is so chic!  It’s got pretty pearl buttons and is accented with fringe throughout.  I love it with jeans for a chic dinner look or with slacks or a skirt for work. It comes in several styles and colors!

Jacket Fit : TTS, I’m wearing size Small and going to exchange for XS.  There is no stretch to it though.

It’s hard to tell from the photo above, but this is the camisole I was wearing with the jacket.  It has a nice deep-V front, but isn’t too revealing.  The shoulder straps are adjustable and it’s fully lined, so it’s not see-through.

You’ll definitely want to add this tank dress to your cart!  It’s a wonderful basic that you’ll get so much use out of and can wear all Spring and Summer long.  It’ll pack beautifully for vacation and can easily go from beach to lunch.

The tank is a scoop neck style and you won’t have to worry about your bra showing.  Plus, I love that it has pockets.

I’m so fond of this checkered dress too! It’s an easy-to-wear shift style that’s begging to be taken on a picnic.  It’s fully lined and feels nice and cool on.  Bonus: it has pockets.

You might be thinking it’s a little early to share white eyelet dresses, but if you have Spring Break plans somewhere sunny, you might want to pack this!  It fits like a glove and you can wear your strapless bra with it. It has decorative petite buttons lining the front and the underneath is lined to mid-thigh.  The front slit makes it super easy to walk in, but it’s still sweet.

You may have seen this dress in one of my previous Amazon posts, but it’s so good, I’m bringing it back and showing a few different ways to style it.

I’ve already worn it several times and always felt great and so comfortable in it.  It’s really soft and almost like a sweatshirt material and you can make it work for day or weekend, but it also dresses up well for work or a date.

You can’t go wrong with black heels and I added a thin gold belt to jazz it up.

Adding a jean jacket always adds a casual bit of charm to your outfit.  This jacket checks all the boxes – stylish, well made, great shade of denim, nice stitching, true pockets and sturdy hardware.

I came across this sleeveless cardigan and would obviously love it with jeans and a tee, but it looks so nice with the dress too. On me, it hits mid-thigh.

This pearl and clover necklace is my newest jewelry obsession.  Once I got the clover earrings, I couldn’t stop!  It’s one long necklace that you can wrap around to make it look layered.

I came across a couple of cute skirts too.  This pleated one with polka dots is midi length (with pockets!) and a pull-on elastic waist.

These spaghetti strap camis are so good, especially for layering.  They have a nice weight to them and you can adjust the straps.

This striped jumpsuit could be a winner if it fit you right.  On me, it’s a bit big, so I don’t think I’m doing it justice.  It felt good on and I really liked the style with the halter neckline, cinched belt and wide leg crop pants.
