Good Monday morning friends! Today kicks off our Spring Break week and I’ve been knee deep in laundry, packing, shopping and organizing all weekend! I swear it takes a small army to get a family ready to go out of town for a few days and I’ve found myself questioning more than once this weekend if it’s really worth it! Do you do that too?! Well, the trip is on and I know once we get there I’ll be so happy we went, it’s just lots of prep work on the front end!
Even though we’re headed to the cold and snow, today, I’ve got two new darling Spring dresses to show you! If you have a Spring soiree, shower, or fancy lunch to attend, either would be perfect!

First up is this grey and white striped eyelet dress with just enough ruffle detail to make it more interesting! I love the mix of stripes and eyelet and how the hem ends with the eyelet trim. The v-neck is modest and the waist is flattering with the band and how it tapers in.
FIT: This dress runs a tad small, I’m wearing a 2 and it fits great, but I’m normally a 0. It’s actually very comfortable on and you can wear your regular bra with it.
I’ve been wearing my 5-strand choker necklace everywhere and getting asked about it a ton. I like it because it’s delicate and light so you actually forget you’re wearing it, but it makes a soft statement.

I think for our next girls’ lunch, I’ll be showing up in this number! We actually photographed 4 dresses on this day and of all of them, I think this was my fave!

WHITE EYELET DRESS
This next dress is a bit sassier with it’s one shoulder and more plunging neckline, but equally adorable and you can wear a strapless bra with it. You guys know I swear by this one!

And how cute is the curved wooden bag?! It’s the same budget friendly option I showed you in March Loves! It’s the designer look without the big pricetag! It’s hard to tell in the photo, but I have my wallet and keys in here, and more would fit!
White eyelet just says fresh and Spring to me and the cut of this dress is really cool. The ruffle on the one shoulder is echoed in the double ruffle on the skirt. It’s super flirty and feminine, and guaranteed to turn some heads! The belt tie is removeable, but I like the detail.

The pink tassel earrings are a fun pop of color! I like them so much, I bought them in navy too!

Okay, guys, gotta wrap this one up and get to finishing my packing- snacks and things to do on the plane and in the car (it’s a 3-hour drive after we land!) are on the agenda today! Any suggestions??
Have a great week!
My boys (ages 4 to 11) love the usborne sticker books specifically the ones where u dress up people: they have rescue worker, extreme sports, warriors… Keeps them busy for a while. I usually buy new ones twice a year for our longer trips!
Love both of these dresses but especially the grey one!

I’m with ya, sister—every. single. time. Is all this packing really worth it?! Of course it is, but I always have moments of doubt during the process…
Have the most wonderful time making some fabulous memories!!
We are headed to Maui this week for our spring break and I can’t wait! It’s so much easier to pack for a tropical holiday, as a matter of fact I have perfected the art of traveling as a family with carry-ons only, which I am pretty proud about! But a ski holiday is a whole other ball game, and the stuff is much bulkier! Keep calm and pack on mama, you will have so much fun when you get there! Enjoy your spring break with your beautiful family!
I forgot to add that when my kids were little, Costco used to have great sticker books and “busy books” which were books that came with a handful of little figurines. Those were my go-to! For James you could do a little LEGO set, I used to take it out of the package and put it in a ziplock or small container ahead of time! Melissa and Doug have great little activity books, as does Usbourne! Lots of options. Traveling with my kids, they are all about the snacks…that’s another key to traveling success for us! I swear sometimes I have enough snacks to feed the whole plane! But hungry kids are cranky kids in my family! Food and a few little treats makes for a much smoother trip!
I love all your posts. Are you sponsored by Nordstrom or just like to shop there? I notice a lot of your choices are from there.
