Weekend Style | Crop Print Pants x2
We’re getting in the swing of things over here! Â James loves his new teacher, which is always a good thing, and I’ve dried up my tears and am trading them in for morning sweat sessions! Â It’s good to get back to those morning workouts, but waking up early will never come especially easy to me. Â I have to give up my afternoon caffeine to make sure I get to sleep in time, and I have more early wake up tips here.
Today, I’m sharing a fun fashion post with you. I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and going for a bold print pant and I’ve styled them for you 4 different ways, so you can get an idea of how versatile they can be.  Today I’ll show you two playful looks, and tomorrow two dressier looks.  You might be surprised, but you’ll even be able to wear these to work in most environments because the cut is very classic.
Print Pants (solid black) â‹… One Shoulder Top (similar) â‹… Heels â‹… Yellow Clutch ⋅  Sunglasses â‹…  Ring â‹…  Earrings â‹…  Lipstick “Baja Bound” â‹…  Strapless Bra
Pants Sizing : These pants fit TTS. I found them at my fave Nordstrom and they come in both regular and petite (thank you Nordstrom for carrying such a good selection of petites!), so I ordered two sizes, 00P and 0P and the 0P fit me best without any alternations in the waist or length. I’m 5’1 and 105 for size reference.
A crop pant can be tricky, but I’m smitten with the cut of this pair and the sturdy, yet stretchy fabric. Â And they have true pockets. Â Isn’t the print so vibrant and fun. Â You could really pair any solid color top with these pants, and I tried a bright yellow for the first look.
I’ve been all about the off-shoulder and cold-shoulder tops, but I’m new to the one-shoulder trend.  Turns out, it’s a fun look for a weekend or night out!  All you need is a good strapless bra.  But the cool thing is, you’ll still feel all secure and don’t have to worry about your top staying off-shoulder when it’s purposefully a one shoulder top.  This one is so fun with the vibrant yellow.  I don’t wear this color that much, but I like it! The fabric is on the thicker side and it feels nice and weighty on.
Top Sizing: This top runs TTS and the XS fit me perfectly, while the XXS was too tight. You have to pull it over your head without a side zipper, so don’t go too small.Â
This one shoulder top is similar and I love the gingham print!

LOOK #2
For the second outfit, I switched out the yellow one-shoulder top for a simple black camisole. Â I love this style tank that goes so easily with everything from jeans to shorts to pants like these.

For most dates nights, I’m usually a jeans, heels and sassy top kinda gal, but I love switching it up for something different and unexpected like these printed pants.
I picked up this leopard zip clutch during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and like the contract of the leopard over the black and the zippered detail.  It feels so expensive and is a good size, so it’ll hold more than your necessities.  This foldover leopard clutch has a similar look for under $40. Â
Don’t be afraid to mix patterns! The larger abstract black and white print looks great with the small leopard print clutch!

I’ll be back tomorrow sharing two more ways to style these fun pants with a pop of red and for the office! Â Until then!

You look stunning!!! Love both of the outfit combos, especially that ruffled top!! Love the color!
Thank you! That yellow is a new color for me, but feels very summertime!
The yellow top is really pretty on you! I need to get out of my rut and decide to “dress” for myself, instead of waiting for a place to go. I enjoy your blog and fashion, home, organizing tips so much.
I’m the same way! So many days I’m just in my jean shorts, but I love to get dressed up too! Thanks for the compliment Joan!
