2 (more!) Cute & Comfy Thanksgiving Outfits
We made it to the weekend after such a loooong week with that time change! I don’t know anymore whether I love it or hate it! It’s dark sooo early, but it’s kinda nice to be able to wake up easier! Today, my mom and I are headed to the Nutcracker Market and it always officially kicks off our holiday season. We’ll be sipping mimosas and shopping and eating and shopping some more! Every year I vow not to buy any more Christmas decor, so we’ll see how that goes!
We’re continuing the cute ‘n comfy Thanksgiving outfit inspiration today with two more budget friendly and extra comfy pair of jeans- the skinny grey pair you heard me raving about in last week’s Dressing Room post, and this dark wash jean with just a hint of whiskering (because sometimes you just want a jean without all that distressing or rips)! Let’s check them out!
OUTFIT #1
Tunic XS Under $50 • Booties • Jacket XS • Skinny Jeans 0P under $100 ⋅ Reversible Tote under $50  • Similar Scarf
I couldn’t think of a softer or more comfortable tunic than this one and it was also one of your recent Dressing Room faves! I don’t know how they get it so amazingly soft (label says it’s a cotton/rayon blend), but it feels so soft and snuggly inside. This particular burgundy color is great for Thanksgiving, but it also comes in a nice blue, charcoal and white. I like the exposed seams for something different and, of course, the forgiving shape of a tunic for all the Thanksgiving food + dessert!
I’m all about bringing in pattern and color with scarves lately, and so I wore this blue plaid scarf with the tunic. Mine is old, but there’s a new similar version out for under $25!
Tunic XS Under $50 • Booties • Jacket XS • Skinny Jeans 0P under $100 ⋅ Reversible Tote under $50  • Similar Scarf
If it’s getting colder where you are, you can add this pink puffer jacket. I already got to wear mine two nights ago at James’ last baseball game that was sooo cold and rainy! Made me so glad I had it! I’m crazy for the light shade of pink that is a fun change from the typical black winter coat.
It’s super warm, but also more slim and fitted, so you won’t look like a snowman in it!
Tunic XS Under $50 • Booties • Jacket XS • Skinny Jeans 0P under $100 ⋅ Reversible Tote under $50  • Similar Scarf
I guess I’m on a bit of a pink kick lately with this jacket, that hat yesterday and then the gorgeous knit scarf below! I could not resist it, even if it is extra chunky! I’m smitten with the color and think it also makes a great home decor accessory!
OUTFIT #2Â
I’m excited to show you this grey jean outfit outside the horrible lighting and cork + blue background that is the Old Navy Dressing room! Truthfully, I’ve already worn these jeans 3 times, and I just got them last week!
Grey Skinny Jeans 0 • White Tee XXS • Soft Cardigan XS • Booties • Necklace • Plaid Scarf • Crossbody Bag • Black Aviators
The jeans are a comfortable mid-rise that actually fit me everywhere- the thighs, waist and hips without any gaping in the back.  That’s hard to come by!  Of course they are a little long in 0Regular, but online they also come in short and tall- I just cut mine with scissors and left the raw edge for now.  The quality is nice too- not too thin or scratchy!
I’m all about an all-neutral or monochrome look, but I do like how the pop of red makes this outfit come alive. Grey and red is a fun combo, don’t ya think?!
But, I took the scarf off to show you the outfit without it and so you could see the really cute cardigan better! It’s comfortable with a stretchiness to it and pockets that you can actually reach! It’s long, but not too long for a short gal- I’d say it fits TTS. And you won’t believe it’s under $50!
Do you have a favorite white tee that you love? One that I reach for all the time, and actually also have in grey, is this v-neck tee with dolman sleeves and a curved high/low hem. I like this one so much because it’s not burnout/sheer, and the cut is on the feminine side. It’s recommended to hand wash and lay flat to dry, but I never do that! I’ve machine washed and dried mine a million times and it still looks great!
And these ankle booties are my go-to for fall when I don’t want the exposed peep toe. They are extremely comfortable and you can wear them without a sock or with a no-show sock. I love this slate grey that goes with so much- and they’re 20% off! Isn’t the little side cut cute?
I hope I gave you some outfit inspiration for the big day of thanks with your families! Now, I need to get busy planning what food to make and bring! Do y’all have anything that’s always a hit and everyone asks you for the recipe?

I went to the Nutcracker Market yesterday. It was so much fun but so crazy too! I was so tired when I got home that I took a 2 nap. Have fun!
I know the feeling! Super excited about going today!
I’m gushing over that pink scarf! It’s so pretty! Also loving the grey on grey look!
lovely
I’d been eyeing that pink puffer jacket for weeks. Reading your comments about it sealed the deal and I ordered it. Hoping it will arrive today or tomorrow. We’re definitely getting a taste of winter in Boston so the timing is perfect!
I have been really impressed with old navy jeans this past year. I got a super soft black pair last winter which are ALMOST as comfy as yoga pants! Then when I was searching for white jeans, I tried several more expensive brands but wasn’t happy. On a whim, I tried some old navy ones and loved them so much I bought 2 pairs! I just got some cords – which I love for fall- and I love them too! The price is so good and Old Navy has seriously upped their game!
Love the outfits! What color is your Rayne pendant? It’s hard to tell if it’s more orange or red. Love it with the outfit!
Hi Cindy! It’s red! I have several colors, but the red is an especially pretty shade!
You always have pretty hair, but in this post it’s AMAZING!!! So pretty!
Thanks so much Jocelyn! It seems really long all of a sudden. Oh, I know, I also flipped it to the other side on that day! I have cowlicks, so it usually only cooperates one way!
