2 Cute & Comfy Thanksgiving Outfits
Can y’all believe that Thanksgiving will be here in just two weeks?!?! It never ceases to amaze me how quickly the year flies by! I’m most looking forward to James being home from school for the whole week and then we can really get our Christmas decorating on! For Thanksgiving, we’ll be heading to my sister-in-law’s house to spend the day with all the cousins. She’s a great cook, so we always enjoy alllll the food and come home and change into our comfy, stretchy pants! Today and tomorrow, I’ll be sharing 4 outfits you can arrive at your families’ home in, looking both cute and comfy!
OUTFIT #1
If this outfit doesn’t say Fall, I don’t know what does! It’s the plaid scarf in those traditional Fall colors that pulls it all together, right now, this is my favorite outfit of the season! I kept having trouble getting the link for the scarf to work- the Willamette Wanderings Plaid Blanket Scarf in Rustic. You might have to copy and paste the name into the site to find it. Â
Sweater XXS • Jeans 25 (33% off) • Similar Booties under $80 • Plaid Scarf • Necklace • Tote
I don’t often recommend designer brand jeans – they’re so expensive! – but dang, are these worth it! And lucky for you, they’re currently on sale 33% off, so now is the time to take the plunge if you’ve been eyeing them.  I don’t know how they do it, but they make you look so super skinny and they make your legs look so long!  Both of which are miracles for me at 5’1 with bigger thighs for my size.  No wonder nearly 300 women gave them rave reviews! They fit TTS and hold their shape all day long (no sagging booty)!! 😉
Sweater XXS • Jeans 25 (33% off) • Similar Booties under $80 • Scarf • Necklace • Tote
I’ve had this v-neck sweater for awhile now, but it’s only recently gotten cool enough to wear! Â You can wear it long or with a mini front tuck, but it definitely runs TTS- the Small blue was too big, and the XXS in oatmeal fit me perfectly.
My booties are way old, but I found this similar pair for you and I just ordered these cognac beauties that would also be really pretty with this outfit!
Remember this hat I told you to get if you’re a hat person?! I’m so smitten with it! The blush pink color, the velvety softness and the perfect shape! Love it soooo much!! It’s adjustable in the back, so you can make sure it fits properly. It’s a great feminine alternative to your traditional sports ball cap!
Sweater XXS • Jeans 25 (33% off) • Similar Booties under $80 • Scarf • Necklace • Tote • Hat
I might not ordinarily think of wear this light teal necklace with my “Fall colors”, but I like how it picks up that little bit of teal in the scarf.
And you know I’m always carrying my favorite tote! I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the quality and how long it’s lasted- several years and still going strong!
OUTFIT #2
If you want a chance to show off your over-the-knee boots, look #2 gives you the perfect opportunity to do so! This pair I scored at the Anniversary Sale, but you’re in luck because they’re back on sale 35% off! They are a lower, chunky heel, so perfectly comfortable for wearing all day!
Jeans 24 (Size Down) under $60 • Necklace • Earrings • Striped Top • Boots 35% off • Leopard clutch under $40
These black jeans are super comfortable with a good bit of stretch and so slimming!  They have a raw edge hem that look good down or rolled and they weren’t too long on me (even though they are supposed to be crop)!
The striped flare sleeve top is meant to be worn untucked, which is particularly good considering all the turkey, stuffing and pies I plan on eating on the big day! Sizes are limited, so I found a few more similar striped tops here, here and here (so cute with the bows!).
And a pop of leopard is always a good idea! This clutch is soft and a good size for holding all your essentials and then some and under $40! The tassel is a cute touch too!
How fun is this tassel necklace?! I wanted to change it up from my go-to Kendra Scott pendant necklace and this one is fun with the tassel!
Jeans 24 (Size Down) under $60 • Necklace • Earrings • Striped Top • Boots 35% off • Leopard clutch under $40
Are you starting to get some ideas for your Thanksgiving outfit?! I’ll be back with two more tomorrow, plus a big weekend sale round-up! In the meantime, you can see my everyday outfits on Instagram, and find the newest steals on my Facebook page, and catch our daily shenanigans on Stories!
Love the hat, great color. And you can’t beat the price on the leopard clutch.
That cap is my new BFF! 🙂 Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! It’s right around the corner!
Loving both of these! That cap just screams fall 🙂 And I’m all about the blanket scarves this time of year!
We’re so happy it finally cooled down here! 🙂
All are cute, but I definitely need a long tunic and leggings for Thanksgiving! I like to be comfy! 🙂
Totally get that!
Hi. Thanks for the great posts on your fashion find. However, i feel that these posts are getting a bit mundane with you only making posts on cloths! How about writing about other lifestyle topics… really miss those. Thanks
