How was your Monday? Hopefully, not too painful! I kicked mine off with an early morning workout and back at it today! I plan on eating ALL the good food NYC has to offer later this week, so I’m getting prepared now! Did you get a chance to see yesterday’s post with the amazing little black t-shirt dress that’s only $46?!
I’m hearing that y’all love it as much as I do, so of course I had to buy it in multiple colors. #noshame I also got it in navy, which has been coming in and out of stock, so hopefully it comes back again if it’s out when you read this. I wanted so show you a few more ways to maximize the wardrobe possibilities with this versatile dress!
Like I said yesterday, this dress is so good because it’s a lightweight crepe material (think less wrinkles!) with sleeves, a chest pocket detail and a great v-neck cut (very flattering). It comes in several pretty fall colors and is opaque, no slip needed. It fits TTS and isn’t too short, even on my girlfriend that’s 5’8. It’s slightly longer in the back, with a higher cut on the side to give you a longer leg line.
First up is this gorgeous navy color all on it’s own with a pair of grey peep toe, heeled booties. I love this color combo, but your black booties or even taupe could work with this color dress. I kept the accessories neutral too and found a similar silver clutch that would be a perfect dupe for the old one I’m carrying.
If you want to bring in more color, a scarf is a great way to do that. This scarf has purple and pink in it, so it looks fantastic with the navy in the dress. I like the frayed edge hem and how it’s lightweight enough to wear now. It’s on sale + an extra 40% off too.
Although I like the grey booties with this outfit, I wish I had brought black booties to show you how good that also looks.
All you have to do to achieve Look #3 is add your favorite jean jacket. I’m crazy for this one because the blue is a great wash and a nice medium weight. It’s got some stretch and is easy to roll the sleeves for a more casual look. It runs TTS, I’m wearing XS. If you want to layer a sweater underneath, you’ll probably want to size up, but I prefer my jean jacket on the fitted side.

If you remove the scarf, you can see how cute just a jean jacket over the dress is. It also shows you a little better how the jacket looks without being obscured by the scarf. Cute, right?! I like the blue jean jacket with the other colors this dress comes in too.
I’m all about the cozy cardi these days, and this knit one is one of my current faves! It’s a nice shorter length, but not too short and has fun slight bell sleeves. It’s 100% cotton and machine washable! Total cardigan home run! (Also on sale + extra 40% off!)
Adding a cardigan over the dress ensures you are super comfy.
I was asked if I thought this dress would look good with tights in the winter and the answer is, yes! There are lots of subltley-patterned styles and you can wear those with closed toe booties if you’re on the adventurous side. Of course, solid tights would work too!
I hope today’s and yesterday’s posts gave you some good ideas for more ways to wear this fall ‘must have’! Do you already have this dress? What color? Or colors?! 😉
