Phew! What a crazy good week with trying to get everything wrapped up with the nursery! Now that the room has been painted and we have furniture, it really is starting to feel like a nursery. I can’t wait to get those finishing detail pieces in that will make it feel like a little baby girl’s room!
I’ve been running around, but managed to snap lots of pictures of one of my favorite casual, boho-ish brands, Free People. My fave Nordstrom carries lots of Free People styles and I’m digging so many at the moment. You know I love their style – the pieces are easy to wear and always have a little detail that makes each piece unique.
A super cute running around top I’m loving lately is my Free People Solid Muscle Tee. I dig the shape, low seam, and short side slits. Also, I like a high neckline sometimes, especially on days this baby is breaking out my chest! One of the not-to-pretty side effects of pregnancy! The top also comes in an army brown “fatigue”, but I prefer the “washed red”. It goes perfectly well with jeans or with camo pants like I wore last week.
Free People Solid Muscle Tee(Size Ref: XS)Tory Burch sunglasses (love these! Definitely worth spending more than I usually do for sunglasses on. I bought the green/white combo so they’ll be good to go all year long.)
For running errands, you know I’d pull on my trusty Skechers GOwalk sneaks, but I wanted to show you how you can dress up your camo and tee with a pair of heels too. Instant dressier look.
You can also dress a tee like this up for dinner with a faux leather jacket (been drooling over this one since last year and scooped it up as soon as I saw it again a couple weeks ago!), booties and a statement necklace.
I’m wearing an XS, but it’s pushing the boundaries of this 22 week baby bump. It would fit less snugly if I wasn’t pregnant. I’m trying to buy clothes that will last beyond pregnancy, but if I buy another one of these, I’ll get the Small because this runs a little small. Isn’t the cuff detail adorable?! Somebody make me a hot toddy and build me a fire!
Your next favorite weekend pullover is up next. You will want to live in this one! Talk about the perfect mix of comfy and cute, it’s long sleeve with a big slouchy turtleneck, but it’s also thin, so it’s ultra wearable. It only comes in two sizes XS/S and M/L. I’m wearing the XS/S and it fits great loosely. It runs big, but is also 100% cotton and I haven’t washed it yet. I will probably like it even better if it shrinks a tiny bit, the length would be better for this shorty.
Now onto the dresses!! I love to wear a dress, something so easy about just putting on one piece of clothing and then accessorizing. This type of style is perfect for this baby bump, when I already just want to be comfortable!
I adore the feminine floral pattern and cranberry fall color of this dress.

I paired it with a faux leather brown jacket (similar) and brown knee high boots to show you the versatility and how you can still wear your shorter dresses in cooler months. The brown jacket I linked is the same one I’m wearing above with the muscle tee – it also comes in a really pretty light blue.
brown knee high boots similar here & here (both on sale)
The dress is a good length in the back too.
Looking for a longish black dress for our school’s adults-only Day of the Dead Harvest party, I found this perfect lace maxi slipdress. It’s currently on sale and I love the eggplant color too. It would be super sexy on a date night or girl’s night out too. Be forewarned, it’s totally lacy and sheer so I’m wearing a black tank with lace trim and boy shorts underneath. But this dress is so fun to wear and you could also just pair a pretty slip underneath. I actually think it would look even better on someone a little taller (I’m 5’0) and the straps were just a tad too loose (but layering the tank helped).
22 week baby bump is showing it’s still okay to feel feminine and beautiful while growing a tiny human. I don’t always feel feminine and pretty while pregnant, but so far, so good. And much, much better than last time!
And can I tell you something funny, if not super embarrassing? When I went to link this dress, I couldn’t find it on the Nordstrom website, even though their search bar is usually really good at finding things. Then I realized why. I was searching for ‘Free People dresses’ and this one is actually listed as a nightgown! OMG! Don’t tell!
Phew! That was a lot of looks! I hope you stayed with me till the end! See you tomorrow for Weekend Steals & Deals – a rainbow of sweaters edition! And wish me luck on the nursery!
Haha! The last nightgown dress reminds me of a Friends episode where Rachel has to wear a slip dress to meet Josh's parents. It looks really cute and WAY to fancy for bed!

Love all the looks but the last dress is my fav! You look absolutely gorgeous!
Looking so good, mama!! But your hair is just perfection!! This length is just so good on you!!!
I laughed out loud at the jammie dress. Too funny.
Your little bump is so cute! The way you dress is so flawless, I can't wait to see how your dress your little mini 🙂
