I almost started this post with Happy Hump Day! then I realized it’s actually Thursday, which tells me that I’m getting a case of summer brain where all the days are starting to run together. That might actually be a good thing! I’m just starting feel the stress of a rigid schedule beginning to loose it’s grip. Today, my son and I overslept for camp, but I realized, we don’t
have to be there on the dot. And since I didn’t have a morning training session scheduled, we were able to linger this morning. Nice for a change! We do still have our typical
summer morning and evening routines, but they aren’t rigid.
Today I’m back with my HWH Loves Bloggers series (#HWHlovesbloggers) and I”ll be doing this every other Thursday. So far, we’ve gotten to peek inside our friends’ gorgeous BEDROOMS, LIVING ROOMS, and KITCHENS, and BATHROOMS. If you missed any of them, you’ll definitely want to check them out. Thank you so much for tagging #HWHlovesbloggers.
#HWHlovesbloggers | KID ROOMS
Okay friends, hold onto your hats because Mollie hand painted that floral mural on the wall. Isn’t it outstanding?! It’s inspired by the popular Rifle Paper Co. print and is just lovely! Can you imagine the talent and patience involved?! I’m smitten with that mint and coral color combo.
Those Ikat throw pillows add just the perfect interest to this sweet girls’ room. And Sue just added a juju hat on the wall above the lamp. #evenbetter
Jill’s kids’ playroom is the perfect combo of playful and organized and I love the pop of color with the red couch! Her
daughter’s room is super cute too!
Ibie doesn’t know it, but I discovered her Instagram account during a very difficult time in my life and her gorgeous photos and
beautiful floral arrangements actually brightened my day. Her home was featured in Better Homes and Gardens recently and I’m so happy for her! Isn’t this under-the-bed kid storage a terrific solution?!
Oh my gosh, can I come over for tea?! I bet Heather’s daughter just loves spending time in this room!
I’m smitten for the whimsical feel of this shared girls’ room. I like the non-perfectness of the two different beds/colors and the quilts and bed sheets are just so playful and fun.
Love this room (floral + stripes!) and Chelsea’s genius idea to poster-size the black and white print of her daughter on the balance beam. I’d melt every time I looked at it. You can get those large prints made at any Wal-Mart, Costco, Kinkos and she paired it with a Target frame.
Pale pink at it’s finest! Sweet floating flowers on the wall are such a cute touch!
House of Jade has seriously been killing it with their interior design projects. Take a look at their Insta feed and see for yourself!
One of my closest friends, Courtney, is known for putting together spaces that are gorgeous, interesting, and also budget friendly! That takes serious talent and creativity. Her daughter’s closet (wallpapered with gift wrap!) is one of my favorite projects she’s done.
Becky, I adore the yellow in this room and that giant gold heart decal on the wall!
Don’t you just love the color and variety in this room and gallery wall?!
How cute is this little plate wall in Addy’s Kitchen?! I mean, talk about a sweet girls’ room!
I’m taking a cue from Jess’ girls’ playroom- we totally need to hang all those costumes we have thrown into a woven bin on the floor! That aqua wall looks fun!
Orange is a favorite color of mine to decorate with. And I’ve never seen the Ikea Expedit cubes stacked quite like this! This looks like a playroom the kids and adults could both relax in.l
Haneen has a serious knack for combining bold colors and patterns. You need to check out her Insta feed to see her girls’ rooms too!
That rod iron bed is so well-dressed!
Carmel is one of my favorite bloggers- just such a sweetie and so original, always moving to the beat of her own drum. How cool is that plank wall?!
I think I’m becoming a stalker of Daysiann’s home! I love it all, including this boy room!
Angela’s “Little Gentlemen’s Lounge” is the coolest! She hand-painted that argyle wall and created such a great storage space for all those books! So, so good Angela!
Rand’s home is another one I’m crushing on hard lately. I thought it was so sweet that these are beds she slept on as a girl and has now passed on to her sons.
I can’t wait to see your NURSERIES next!
Just tag your Instagram pic #HWHlovesbloggers and I’ll be featuring them next week here and on my
Instagram.
