Monday Musings (Marble Contact Paper Sale)
Hello Monday! I’m knee deep in a mini mudroom makeover because I wanted to add some color to the room and had extra Comfort Grey to use from my dining room. The door’s getting painted, the stripes are going, and I’m looking for a new rug. Target has some great rugs at good prices (over $50 ships free) with a better selection than you see in the stores. I like this one, seems fun for a mudroom:
Boho Boutique Medallion Floral Area Rug (I had to click “quick info” and actually “add to cart” to make it show up as available- weird.)
And I always look for rugs at Joss & Main. Here’s the contender there:
I may need to change out the bench seat fabric too.

Also, remember when I made a faux marble console table top with marble contact paper?
The paper I used retails for $65 a roll for 18″ x 49.5′. If you don’t need that much, you can use inexpensive marble contact paper from Amazon 
($10.99 for 17.7″ x 78.7″ roll). That’s what Carrie of Dream Green DIY used for her mid-century side table. Looks great!

Love the colors in both, but neither would stand up around here with us and the dogs! I do have lighter rugs, but they are Dash and Albert, 100% washable.
I always forget you have dogs! Have to decorate around dogs and babies to some degree! 😉

Yes! He's digging it- gets to bring his fave book on Wed and fave toy on Friday! Fun stuff for little kids!
