Hi friend! Sorry I missed you yesterday. My daughter wasn’t feeling well and that threw my day all out of whack. Thankfully, she’s much better now and back at school.
For many of us with kiddos, it’s the last school week before Christmas break! We have a 4-day week and Friday is the class parties and Advent calendar. My son has mid-term exams, but we definitely already have our minds on the holiday break. You too?

Honestly, I didn’t want the night to end. It was so wonderful to get all my girlfriends together under one roof and just relax and have fun together.

GIFT EXCHANGE
If you aren’t familiar with a favorite things party, it’s a girls only soiree where everyone brings (3) favorite things for a gift exchange. Here’s how our gift exchange works:
Hi friend! Did you have a good weekend?! I started to feel under the weather, which is so crazy because I was sick at this exact time last year! I remember because it was the week of our annual Favorite Things Party!
Our party is this Friday and I’m so excited to get together with all the girls! It’s one of the most fun things I do all year. And we get to do it in my new house this year! Of course, we’ll have to find a new spot for our annual staircase photo- but I think my new staircase will do just fine!
Hi friend! Happy Thanksgiving! How has your day been? I spent the day with my family and I’m ever so thankful for them. I’ve often said that we are a small, but tight bunch and it still holds true. I’m so glad we live in the same city and get to see each other often. Our kids are getting to grow up together and that means so much to me.
We had a feast of a meal, laughed till we cried and then enjoyed too much dessert. And, we drew kids’ names for our annual Christmas gift exchange and decided we’ll do a While Elephant gift exchange for the adults again this year.
Hi friend! On Monday morning I was getting ready for Ali-Shaun to come over and try on clothes for our special Black Friday Style A Friend post. I ordered the mother load of cute winter and holiday clothes and couldn’t wait to get started!
Hi friend! I’m still reveling in the post-Christmas glow, and the decor is happily still up. I’m not ready to take it down and I don’t have the energy yet. The best part is just getting together and catching up.
