Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh, new week! We had such a good weekend and we’re heading into this week of Christmas break with so much gratitude for time off school with family and friends.

Our weather has been chilly, but bright and sunny, so perfect for enjoying time outside. What are you up to this week?

With the colder temps, you may find yourself reaching for your coziest sweaters to fight the chill, but sweater dresses are a great option too.

I found several different styles in varying lengths, weights, and textures – and work to weekend friendly too!

This cable and ribbed knit sweater dress is a bit on the sassy side with the little above-the-knee slit, but it’s still quite tame. The “caramel” color I ordered looks more burnt orange in person, but it comes in a ton of other colors.

It has a lot of stretch and is easy to move in. Plus, it comes with the coordinating tie belt.

This sweater dress is a mock neck style with a simple ribbed knit throughout. It has a side slit that makes it easy to walk in.

This dress hits me just above the knee and is on the lighter weight side. The wide belt is attached at the sides, drawing your waist in as you tie it. The shorter length is also balanced by the high neckline, making it appropriate for work.

This dress has a thicker weight to it with a more blousy top and fitted skirt. You could add a belt at the waist for added visual interest.

If you love a monochromatic look, this “beige” dress and tan boots is so chic looking- although the color looks more ivory than beige to me. It’s a relaxed fitting sweater dress that I belted to help define the waist. It’s nice and soft feeling with drop shoulders and elasticized cuffs.

Here’s a traditional cable knit sweater dress with great texture that’s more fitted to the body. You’ll be extra warm in this one with the wide turtleneck!

How fun is this dress?! While not a sweater dress, I thought it would be so fun for a holiday party with the sequin nutcrackers and gold sequin trim. Ali-Shaun and Tarah both wore it this weekend!

And I almost wore this nutcracker sweatshirt to my kids’ classroom parties. Again, so festive with the nutcracker print!

Now I just need to see how much energy I have in the tank to pick back up my marathon training. I was down for about two weeks and plan to go for a run this week and see how I feel and where I’m at. If you have any tips for me, I’d love to hear in the comments.
