No Cost Mother’s Day Gifts | Under $25 & What I’m Getting My Mom

Hi friend! I hope your week is off to a great start! Are you joining me for 30 days of wellness? I printed out my tracker and feel really good about having a focus for the next 30 days.

With Mother’s Day approaching (it’s Sunday, May 12), I’ve been thinking about what we’ll do to honor my own mom this year. I’m thankful to have a close relationship with her and she lives close so we get to see her often.

I’ve rounded up a list of gifts that are meaningful and don’t cost a thing; gifts under $25; and what I’m getting my own mom!

Mother’s Day Gifts (That Don’t Cost Anything)

Handwritten Letter: With words of affirmation being my primary love language, this is what I’d most like to receive from my kids and my mom is similar. You can write a heartfelt note with some favorite memories or qualities and a simple “thank you” would mean so much.

Quality Time Together: Spend a day with your mom doing activities she loves, whether it’s going for a walk, cooking a meal together, or simply chatting over a cup of tea or coffee. My mom loves getting a Starbucks (extra hot mocha with whole milk please!) and going shopping, especially when we go to places that are inexpensive like the Dollar Store, Ross or Michaels.

Acts of Service: Offer to help around the house or take on tasks that your mom usually does, such as cooking dinner or doing the laundry.

Create Something: Make a homemade gift such as a photo album, scrapbook, or artwork. It’s a personal and thoughtful way to show your appreciation.

Memory Jar: Write down favorite memories you’ve shared with your mom on small pieces of paper and place them in a decorated jar. I may have my kids do this.

Family Time: Organize a family game night or movie marathon. Spending quality time together can be the best gift of all.

Plan a Surprise: Plan a surprise outing or picnic in a local park. It shows thoughtfulness and creates special memories.

Prepare a Meal or Dessert: If your mom has a favorite meal or dessert, you could make it for her. Rhonda’s chocolate chip cookies are always a fave.

What I’m Getting My Mom

I invited my family over on Mother’s Day for lunch and swimming. I just bought these daisy flowers at Whole Foods grocery store and put them in a sweet terracotta planter and my mom has been obsessed with it.

So, I’m going to make one to give to her.

Pool Lounge Chairs • Umbrella • Patio Lounge Chairs • Side Table/Cooler Combo

She also does patio gardening and I found this cute garden sign. I’m personalizing it to say “Grandma’s Garden”. She’ll love it!

She also really needs help with remembering passwords, so I’m gifting her the little password saver book that I also use. It’s a lifesaver and was gifted to me from Rhonda!

I hope this post gives you some Mother’s Day inspiration!

Have a fantastic day friend!
