Hi friend! Welcome to a brand new week! We had a great weekend and are looking forward to another short week because we’re heading out on a weekend trip Friday.

My mom, kids and I are going to visit my grandparents in Indiana. If you didn’t know, I was born there, but quickly moved to California, then Ohio at age 9, and I’ve been in Houston since age 17.

My kids have never met these great-grandparents, so I’m really looking forward to this trip. It will definitely be a special one.

And, another bonus is that we’ll get to enjoy the cooler weather! At least we’re down to the mid-90’s here now!

I like that we can get a high end designer look for less from those stores. Especially, since it’s seasonal decor that I like to switch out every few months.

My love of neutrals is strong and all of these items fit that Fall bill perfectly. I like to bring in touches of Autumn color with faux florals and this set is a great one that fills out a vessel perfectly.
