AMAZON FASHION FAVES

Today, it’s time for a brand new Amazon fashion faves!  Speaking of, did you catch the Nordstrom vs. Amazon | Looks for Less post?  I had so much fun putting that post together with things from several categories on Amazon – fashion, intimates, activewear, accessories, jackets, shoes and home decor.  You can check it out here.

I’m excited for today’s post too because it’s full of things you can wear now and on into Fall and winter.  But, first, I always love seeing what y’all are loving and here’s your recent faves!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110.  I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS in tops and dresses.  Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

Let’s start with a shorts outfit because that’s still what I’m living in half the time, but I’m certainly ready for jeans and sweaters!

I’ve gone from shorts, tank tops and flip-flops to shorts with a lightweight pullover and booties to make it more Fall friendly.

This pullover is perfectly casual with the drop shoulder contrasting him and button neck. It fits true to size, but I’m wearing a small so it’s slightly big on me. The good thing about that is that it makes it easy to tie, duck, or where long with leggings.

The pullover comes in lots of Fall colors, I really liked the green that is kind of an olive green/gray. Also the navy and blue.

But quickly moving onto jeans and sweaters, I’m crazy for this tan and white color block a BEAUTY. It’s nice and thick and has a kind of ‘bouncy’ quality to it.

As you can see, it looks great with white jeans for more of a monochromatic look, but equally as good with blue jeans.

Sweater Fit: I’m wearing a Small

Yep! I’m definitely a fan of white jeans after Labor Day, you can see that wearing them with a tan booty and coordinating sweater looks great and fresh for Fall.

White Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 26

The blue jeans with a hint of distressing are also by Levi’s at Amazon, called the “Wedgie” Terrible name, but super cute jeans!

I also have to say I was very impressed with the Amazon booties. They took a while to arrive, but they are quite stylish and comfortable.

I can’t say they would hold up as well as your more quality booties, but they should last at least a season or two.

Amazon booties

The booties fit TTS and zip up the back. You’ll want to wear a low or no-show sock with them so your socks don’t show at the side V cutout.  I often wear my booties barefoot while it’s warm out.

This crossbody saddle bag is gorgeous! The detail on it is really good and it looks so expensive but is under $36! It’s nice and roomy inside with one main compartment, a zipper pocket, and two slot pockets.

Under the front flap is another pocket. That’s where I like to keep my phone for easy access.  I really like this brown one I got, but the black and grey were equally as good!

Y’all may have seen this pullover in yesterdays cozy post. It’s literally one of the softest things I’ve put on my body in a long time. It’s fuzzy snuggle quality with a quarter front zipper, sweatshirt cuff, a drawstring hoodie and pockets.  It comes in lots of colors, but isn’t the pink pretty?!

Style Tip: Wearing a v-neck tee underneath that peeks out gives your outfit layered visual interest.

Wow! What a soft cardigan and the pop of color is so nice!  I wore this with my trusty high neck tank, but I do usually prefer a scoop or v-neck top with a cardigan so it opens up your neckline. (see below)

Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS

The cardigan itself is really nice, a great length and it has pockets.

See how the bodysuit opens up the neckline?! I’ve been wearing this bodysuit for two years I think.  It’s great alone in the Spring/Summer, and a great layering piece in the Fall.  It’s super comfortable with a bit of stretch and the white is totally opaque.  I have it in black too.  Oh, and it has a full bottom- not a thong!

The sweater took me by surprise with how much I like it, along with the paint black pants, but I’ll get to those in a minute!

The sweater is a relaxed drop sleeve style, perfectly neutral, and works for day or night. For night I love that it has a little bit of shimmer in the thin gold stripe.

I took a look at the other patterns and colors this comes in and actually liked them all! Some of them will take a while to arrive though.

Sweater Fit: I’m wearing a Small, and like the relaxed fit

Denim Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 26

Black Sateen Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 0

Okay, let’s talk about these black pants! They are constructed like a jean with a button and zip fly with pockets, but they are actually a sateen pants. Not super shiny, but just a tiny bit of sheen.

They fit like a glove and are so flattering on!  These are definitely a keeper and I can see you wearing them on a date night, to the office, or just out and about, depending on how you style them.

They have a comfortable high-rise and skinny ankle length and you won’t believe this, they are under $30 and my size was only $9 dollars!

Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 0

I was looking through my order to find the link for this t-shirt and then realized this top is called the “sleepwell with temp tech pajama sleep top. “No wonder I liked it so much!  It’s silky smooth and so soft!

But I think it looks great as a regular top worn out of the house! It also has a thin mesh detail at the neck that adds a sexy touch!

Tee Fit: I’m wearing a Small

TunicPonte LeggingsBooties

OMG, a big, fat #yesplease to this tunic!  It’s that super soft fabric we’re all crazy for and you may just want to sleep in.  How perfect for leggings with the longer length.  I also adore that it has a little side slit!

Tunic Fit: I’m wearing an XS

Of course with leggings I have to talk about the Ponte Leggings that y’all went crazy for last year!  They were one of the top sellers for the year!

The amazing thing about them is they are like a cross between a legging and a pant with the thicker fabric construction. You will definitely feel smooth (no lumps or bumps) and not at all exposed in these. They are quite substantial and my favorite leggings for wearing with tops (as opposed to leggings that feel like workout leggings).

Leggings Fit: I’m wearing an XS Regular, and cuffed mine under to show a little ankle.

Do you remember the leopard cardigan I got in this print? It also comes in and adorable V-neck sweater and I am smitten with the relaxed fit.  And it’s definitely long enough for leggings!

Style Tip: Cuff the sleeves and layer a V-neck tee underneath gives it a weekend casual vibe.

TankJoggers

I’ve been looking for ultra comfy joggers that I can wear around the house in that “in between time” where I don’t want to be in regular clothes anymore, but it’s too early for pajamas since we are often answering the door, running in and out, etc.

These joggers are by a quality athletic brand on Amazon that I have purchased from before- Baleaf. And these joggers have gotten over 4,000 positive reviews. The fabric felt great, nice and lightweight and stretchy, plus it comes with a comfortable elastic waist band with a functional drawstring.

My only hesitation on these is that the pockets are so long- down to my mid-thigh. I feel like that would end up bugging me, so I wanted to mention it so that you have all the details. If you’re short like me, it might bother you too??

Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS

Joggers Fit: I’m wearing an XS

Crop SweatshirtLounge Pants

These pants are said to be yoga/lounge, but they are definitely more lounge/pajama.  In a good way though.  Super soft, on the thin side, but very comfortable for lounging- with pockets.

Pants Fit: I’m wearing an XS, and they’re way long on me

The sweatshirt is a cute cropped style and the pink color is pretty.  The sleeves are meant to be long and I felt that the cuffs were on the tight side.

Sweatshirt Fit: I’m wearing an XS

DressSandals

As soon as I put this dress on I loved it! But I also thought it might be a little too “Little House on the Prairie” for some! The thing is, it feels so crisp and cool against your skin and the flowy style is just lovely.

Plus, I happen to love the print and color. The only thing I would change is that the tassels are too long- nothing a little snip couldn’t fix.

Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS

Romper DressSandals

Dang, this dress, Oops romper, is so so cute! It’s actually shorts and fully lined, with a skirt overlay. Only the sleeves are sheer. The only problem is it could benefit from a small snap closure at the top to keep it from gaping open. That, or a camisole worn underneath.

Dress Fit: I’m wearing a Small

DressHeels

What a sophisticated little tweed dress! Perfect for the office, or a ladies lunch, shower, or even church! The pattern and style are so chic, and it comes in more colors.

Style Tip: It would also look great with booties and tights in the winter.

Dress Fit: Fits TTS, to slightly small and does not stretch. I’m wearing an XS

Dress Clear Heels

Last but not least, this one shoulder dress has so much potential! I actually loved it, but unfortunately, it didn’t come in my size!

I think the class style is classy and elegant and a little on the sexy side with baring one shoulder. The material feels like a soft stretchy T-shirt and the midi length is really nice. I think it would look great on you if they have it in your size!

I bet you get tons of compliments on it! 😉

Dress Fit: Fits TTS, I’m wearing a Small and would prefer XS

Christmas Ornament

I had to laugh when I stumbled upon this 2020 Christmas ornament! I ordered one and I guess that will be my ornament of the year since the annual Houston Nutcracker Market is going virtual this year.  I understand, but such a bummer because my mom and I have a tradition of going every year.  We’ll miss it!
