All the Swimsuits!

Hi friend!  The events of the last couple of days have me feeling such low energy.  It’s such a punch to the gut that we keep hearing about these tragedies and even more devastating for the families living them.

Surely we can change this.

We have to change this.

Our precious children and teachers and faculty and staff should never have to go to school and worry about being shot.  It’s unbearable the heartbreak.

It’s a tough switch to turn to frivolous things, though I do hope my blog continues to be a happy place for you.  I will keep on keeping on and hope that these posts are a respite from the heaviness of life.

I hope you enjoy this one – all about swimwear and coverups.

The taste of lazy days that Spring Break brought has me looking a couple months ahead to summer for sure.  I love all of the extra time with my kiddos, slower days and, of course, pool time.  My daughter LOVES to go swimming and I do too.

I have fabulous swimsuits to share with you from Amazon, Target and Nordstrom.

Swimsuit, Hat, Beach Bag

This one piece is still quite sexy with the plunging neckline. The bust offers good support with removable padded cups and adjustable shoulder straps.  The side rushing is incredibly flattering.

It’s also cute in the back with double criss cross straps and full bottom coverage.

Swimsuit and CoverUp

This coverup will be perfect when you want to throw something on over your swimsuit, coming or going to the pool from your hotel room.  You can also wear it to the poolside lunch since it comes with a coordinating belt that you can tie so the cover up is more like a maxi dress.

Cover Up Fit: One Size

Striped Swimsuit, Sun Hat

I loved how this one piece looked and felt on.  The stripes are flattering  and you can remove the shoulder straps if you want to wear it bandeau style.  The back is EXTRA cute with lattice shoe string ties and moderate coverage in the rear.

Swimsuit Fit: I’m wearing a 4

Blue Bikini, Black Hat

As for a two piece, I liked this bandeau style in the pretty pale blue and embroidered stitch detail at the waist and top.  It’s not super supportive up top, but does come with removeable pads.

Bikini Fit: I’m wearing a Small

       Bikini Top, Pants, Hat

These palazzo style pants are a good idea, nice and lightweight and flowy with pockets, just too long on me.

Swimsuit with color ties in front

Isn’t this swimsuit fun?! I adore the contrast of the black suit paired with the pastel criss cross detail.  Bonus: the back has the same criss cross detail.

Swimsuit Fit: I’m wearing a Small, prefer XS

Bikini, Tote Bag

If you like a high waist bikini, you might like this one.  The bottoms are cut high on the side to give you a longer leg line.  The athletic style top has adjustable shoulder straps and removable padded cups.

CoverUp Hat

This coverup is super cute and easy to wear.  It’ll fit nicely in your beach bag since it’s a thin knit.  It cinches at the waist and then ties.  The back is adorable with a V and t-bar, giving you a peek-a-boo look.

CoverUp Hat

Cover Up

I was smitten with the mesh style and pretty blue color of this cover up.  It’s a dress you slip into or over your head with side rusching.  I love the deep, open back, but felt like it was too big on me.

CoverUp Fit: One Size, Color D-Lake Blue

Cover Up

This crochet style cover up dress is sassy and really cute! I like how it fit and how it covers, with the higher neckline balancing the shorter length.  It has a sassy low U back with a t-bar across the upper back to keep it staying put on your shoulders.

Floral Swimsuit

I’m crazy for the floral print and muted colors on this one-piece. It has ladder stitch detail at the v-neck and flattering waistline.  The shoulder straps are adjustable and it has moderate back coverage.  It also has removable padded cups.

Striped Swimsuit

How fun is this striped swimsuit with the rope tie belt?!  You can wear it without the belt too.  The back is sexy- totally open since the top is halter style and ties behind your neck.

If you prefer more coverage in a one piece, this one is stunning and will easily transition from pool to lunch with just a skirt or pair of shorts.  The material is a ribbed knit and the back is open with a behind-the-neck closure.  It also comes in dark green.

This two piece is a mix and match style so you can chose the pieces you like best.  I really like the tie front short sleeve top for more upper coverage and the twist front, hipster bikini bottoms.

Swimsuit Fit: I’m wearing a Medium Top (prefer Small) and XS Bottoms

Red Swimsuit Hat

This red is stunning in person!  The swimsuit has a sophisticated square neck with comfortable wider shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are adjustable and it has removable soft cups.  More colors available.

Swim Cover Up, Hat

I’m crazy for this coverup!  It slips on easily over your head with a hoodie style in a gauzy knit and a high/low hem.  There’s a sporty crochet trim at the chest and it has a kangaroo pocket.  It also comes in black.

Ooooh, you have some great ones here! I ordered that striped one from Nordstrom in the teal right away because a lot of these are low inventory. Thanks for being brave to try these on in March! Imma need a tan before I put any of these on my body anytime soon! 😉

I so appreciate your thoughtful words about our kiddos and their school staff and teachers – what a sad, heavy week it’s been. You are definitely a bright light and I love my morning dose of HWH to start the day off right! Xo

It is sad what has happened over there. The first step would be to not employ mentally ill people in the school system. Transgender is not a gender, it is a form of Munchausen. The trans push on children and the devaluing of real biological woman is a sick and evil agenda that people need to take a stand against. Too many have fear of being accused that they are not being inclusive or supportive. The cost of this is the loss of young innocent lives by them being put in an environment with mentally unstable individuals who are fooling themselves. The entire transgender movement is laughable really, the stupid pronouns, if someone says they identify as something they are not, then they are unstable. If someone said they identify as a tree or a cat, then more people would see the absurdity of this fake agenda movement. Gay and Lesbian people should also be outraged that their private and personal attractions are being lumped in to the same category as a transgender person.
