Top 15 Favorite Things from Our Favorite Things Party

Hi friend!  Two more sleeps ’til the big Thanksgiving Day!  Cue the cooking and stretchy pants!! 😉

My friend Ali-Shaun and I have been hosting a Favorite Things Party for the past 5 years and it’s become one of my favorite nights of the entire year!

It’s such a fun evening with all of our best girlfriends and we laugh, eat, have fun, and of course, exchange gifts!  If you’re curious about how we do it, go here for all details!

Lots of you have asked what our top Favorite Things have been over the years, so I went back through and compiled a list of what got the most Oohs & Aaahhs, was yelled “PICK ME!!” the loudest, and the things we’re still raving about and gifting to this day.

After hosting 5 parties with about 20 ladies each, you can imagine it was a hard list to narrow down.  I think there’s a gift theme that we all really like:

1) useful, practical gifts that make our lives easier, and

2) things that make us feel good.

Our price limit is usually $25 – $30 per Favorite Thing, but sometimes prices adjust or we’re able to catch a sale!  Without further ado, here are the top 15 favorite, Favorite Things!

1Ali-Shaun’s Fave Thing: She brought the infamous eBags to our very first Favorite Things party and they are about as good as it gets.  Practicality seems to win out every time and these packing cubes help you fit twice as many things into your suitcase, all while keeping it neat and organized.  When I travel with my kids, everyone has their own color and I bring a extra large one for dirty clothes.

2Shannon G Fave Thing: This versatile Set of Earrings and the cool thing about them is that there’s a style for every occasion or just for everyday.  They’re nice and lightweight and you get a set of six for under $14.

3Rhonda’s Fave ThingSupergoop Unseen Sunscreen – I’ve never worn a sunscreen that feels like this- it’s a very lightweight gel consistency that goes on invisibly.  It’s also weightless and scentless and formulated with antioxidants that prep your skin for makeup.   It has a velvety finish that doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or shiny.  And it provides broad-spectrum protection and protection from blue light, too.

4 & 5Andrea’s Fave Things: the hand repair gloves & exfoliating foot mask. We had a fun spa party for our girlfriend Marianna’s birthday and all went home with these masks.  They are such a treat and easy to apply.  You just slip your hands into the gloves and feet into the mask and wear for about 20 minutes.

6Megan M Fave Thing: Bracelet Keychain that you can wear on your wrist and find easily in your bag.  It comes in a ton of colors/styles.

7Tisha’s Fave Thing: Flameless Lighter – This one comes in the prettiest color options and is rechargeable! I love the sleek design and how easy it is to use!  Over 17,000 4.5 star reviews.

8 • Shannon H Fave Thing (and Oprah’s Fave Thing too!): Bindle Bottle – a 20 oz. double walled stainless steel insulated water bottle that keeps your drink hot or cold for up to 12 hours and also has a compartment to store your keys, cash, or snacks!

9Shannon H Fave Thing: SkinnyTaste Cookbooks – She credits Whole30, her air fryer and the SkinnyTaste cookbooks for helping fight the “battle of the bulge” . Whatever she’s doing, she looks great!  Rhonda was one of the recipients of this gift and said there’s so many recipes she cooks for her family on repeat from this cookbook.

10Kelly’s Fave Thing: Mrs. Meyer’s Dish Soaps (& a clean house!), especially in the holiday/winter fragrances. I have to agree!  There’s something special about a clean, good smelling house, especially at Christmas time.

11Tarah’s Fave Thing: Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.  She said she was literally stopped in the street to be told how good she smelled while wearing this!  I must admit, it smells pretty damn good.  I’m actually out of mine- used it til the very last drop and will definitely be reordering!

12Ali-Shaun’s Fave Thing: Goodr Sunglasses.  She can found in them almost any time she’s outside. She brought 2 different color with 3 awesome names. Her go-to is called “Going to valhalla…witness!” These are great sunglasses for people who spend a lot of time outside because they don’t slip off your nose and they’re polarized! The names of these glasses alone are worth a look!

She even gifted me this pink pair!

13Rhonda’s Fave Thing: The pretty Corkcicle keeps your drinks, wine & champagne at the perfect drinking temperature (if it makes it that long!), but more importantly it’s SO PRETTY and shatterproof! Rhonda also included a little bottle of prosecco – such a great combo!

14My Fave Thing: Cork Pops Wine Opener– Brian turned me onto this genius wine opener. It’s fun to use and makes opening a bottle of wine a breeze!  You just push the needle into the the cork and push the button.  The cork instantly pops out!

15Angela’s Fave Thing: Angela brought this collapsible tote to the party with her food, drink and gifts and got so many compliments on it! I’m so glad I was one of the recipients because I use it all the time!  It’s super sturdy, perfect for travel too. I use mine for returns and also for packing food when going on road trips.

I have and use everything on this list, except for #8.  That’s the only thing I don’t have!

Love these Megan! We need that wine opener…even though we are seasoned pros at using the corkscrew, we fail quite often. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your sweet kiddos!!

Great gift ideas here! Thank you! Can you tell me about the framed Palm tree art in the background of the collapsible tote pictures?
